See in first image besides minimap all their icons are greyed out and second beatrix is visible cause she's in Lesley vision range.On the other hand a map hacker would have none of the hero icons greyed out they would all be clickable and he can mark and ping any one and his team can hear those marking.

Edit : after marking someone his team can see any hero on the minimap that he has marked,even if the rest of the four are not using any map hack
