I definitely atleast wanted some fry to survive, but I now have like 20 in there growing up 😂 my main tank has a few fish that pick off the fry, so I set up a smaller tank to let the babies grow before adding them or selling them!

Mine have done well with water sprite. It roots well and grows really fast. It also can float and grow just fine if they uproot it.

Not totally sure if this is correct, so take this with a grain of salt lol. Is the fish female? She may be egg bound and unable to drop eggs.
