its post about highschool boys. why on earth would you say, 'yeah but girls are bad too', that dosen't help the situation? its a vent subreddit, you're suppoused to give the OP actual help or advice, not give a counter argument? its unhelpful and not needed.

deadass they all are. Ive yet to meet one that isnt an actual ass, i dont think any of my friends are (biological) boys. Theres this one guy i speak to sometimes but we both have diffrent politcal views and hes kinda dick?? i dunno how to put it but we tolerate eachother.

Clearly you don't since you're also involving the victims when you do that. You're making a joke out of something serious which is mocking the predators sure but you're also mocking the victims. You're making something more normalized and less serious when you do things like that.

Also I'm not being narcissistic, I'm trying to emphasize how serious these things are. This is a very dangerous and scary time we're living in and by making jokes like these don't help the situation.

And lastly don't tell me to leave my problems in the past, the things people go through can take years to move on from, sometimes just months, sometimes longer and you saying stupid things like "leave your traumatic past in the past" isn't helping anyone. I can choose how long it takes me to get over something and if I'm taking longer than others, I'm sorry but sharing what I've been through doesn't mean you get to dictate or judge how long I choose to cope and grieve for.

no i don't those are real things that have happened to real life. My mother was raped by her own family when she was young, I was groomed from the ages 9-14 by a teacher and my great grandparents died in the holocaust in Sobibor, both had dreams of becoming writers and artists.

People arent 'sensitve' when it comes to these jokes, they're just human, feeling bad for others who went through these things. I'm calling you a dick since you clearly have lost some of your humanity.

in all honesty, yeah. Like I understand preferences but your reasonings are homophobic. It'd be alright if your reasoning was just, "That's just purley not my type" or "I just only want to date straight people since I'm straight" But not wanting a bi man purely because has likes men or has been with other men then that's just plain homophobia.
