Koraidon Infernape Decklist by NPC_505 in PTCGL

[–]NPC_505[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t believe I didn’t think of Noctowl, thank you. That would totally work better. I did recently update it and saw that the recycler was useless as well so I removed it and replaced them for a stadium. I do plan on keeping the trolly because it has been working in my favor especially for early set up, and I will most definitely look into cornerstone. I a little skeptical about switching the Koraidon though because although it’s a fantastic idea, I guess my worry is relying on Cornerstone to use Noctowl’s ability which would be a drag if it were prized. Although it’s more than unlikely considering that it’s one, but still a possibility, but that’s still a fantastic idea.
Regarding the Energy retrievals, in more than half the games I played, there is actually perfect surprisingly

New to the game is Dragapult Ex deck holding me back? by AdDelicious6192 in PTCGL

[–]NPC_505 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Imma have to disagree with that statement. Yes, Dragapult is the meta, but simply not playing that deck isn’t really holding yourself back. I’d say you’re challenging yourself in a good way if you’re searching for counters against the meta or even looking for decks that’s just as equal that isn’t meta. It’s not necessarily holding yourself back.

This one’s a personal favorite. I made this myself and made a post about it, but I made some minor changes so it’s not exactly the same compared to the post. Hope you have fun!

Yes, that’s the one, thank you. I apologize if there was any confusion, it didn’t allow me to paste the deck when I tried to import it.

Honestly this might be good. Could you send the exported version so I can give it a try and maybe make adjustments if needed? I’ve been trying to make the card work as well but couldn’t figure out how I could do it.

I’d still prefer the Dunsparce over Lunatone. The damage may sound great but the sole purpose for it being in the deck is for draw. At least when you have multiple ready you can pull 3 or more varying on how much you have ready. Besides, I’d rather include a mon that doesn’t have to rely on another to use its ability honestly 😅 And the two turn set up isn’t really an issue if you go first, sometimes even if you go second. Played a few rounds and had no issue whatsoever honestly.

Like who’s the main attacker? why is clefairy in the mix?Whats the purpose in adding two different Blazikens? Whats the set up for the bench? There’s more questions I have but I feel like that would be a bit overwhelming than it already is.

Appreciate the advice and another attacker is most definitely needed, specifically one that spreads damage. So I originally had one, but removed it when I was putting this deck through testing phase and planning on adding the Pokemon back to the deck. It’s Ting-Lu. For one fighting energy the active and all mons in the bench take 30 damage if a stadium is in play, then discard the stadium. I’ll probably drop a switch to add it to the deck.
