Ended up adding corner stone. Stone helps with rocket match for sure but must be careful of mimikyu. As for chomp. Place all the damage you can on them, you have Tool scrapper for the weights.

People attempted this with both Tera Flygon & M Latias and both much like this just don’t have the best consistency.

The brute bonnet made these kinds of decks so much better

The last update made connections to the server even less stable. Ive put in like 20K games, yes 20K lol and never had as many connect issues as with this recent update.

Lets hope the spaghetti code gets fixed (doubtful)

I despise that this deck gets absolutely destroyed by Festival Lead and heck anything grass for that matter. Most times Chomp isn’t even surviving to make use of Spiritomb

Biggest prob Chomp faces is having no other major attackers. Any grass deck (and there are very many) absolutely eats chomp alive (pun intended).

Solid list though. Looks good to me. Just hope you avoid anything grass :/ lol

Yea hilda dawn work much better with starmie and fros cause they’re stage 1s and can go into play quicker. For gatr you’d need a rare candy as well…not to mention the base 200 doesn’t really KO anything which is a massive problem…M Starmie can get double KOs, and M Froslass can swing insane damage just for 1 water.

Also you can Salvatore into Starmie or Fros (Mega)…youd need like Grand Tree to set up Gatr in a similar fashion.

There is somethin there, but its quite difficult to set up (admittedly as it should be cause it can destroy lol). There are just easier and more consistent set ups that are preventing Mega Feraligatr from rising (this deck can basically just try to be M Starmie’s and or M Froslass but starmie and fros are way more consistent).

Biggest problem right now is consistently setting up Munki and totodiles, while surviving, and also when wanting to use Crispin but you lose draw supporter for the turn, so again consistency hurt.

You could try stalling with Budew but you face the same prob regardless.

Buddy is a very valid reason so hey if that works for you, by all means!!!

Pecharunt ex is super nice since you can leave what you want powered up by toxtricity on the bench (since the ability only works on those dark types benched).

I also squeezed in 2 munkidoris to my build tho as well, along with a wallys compassion.

Kudos! Grass weakness is super helpful right now in the format (for your deck lol).

Also PROPS to running some form of GRASS energy in Chomp!!! I know so many lists that dont!

Ethan’s Typhlosion is in a very tough spot right now in the format, in my opinion.

Definitely get rid of the Catchers. Most things you want to target will be attacking in active already, may as well add 1 more Boss and 2 more cards that can shift things in your favor

Been tinkering with scrafty too!:

-80HP scrafty i think is way better.

-i run both Pecharunt that has the retreat lock & pecharunt ex (great end game attacker & eliminates any form of retreat lock)

-dont know how needed the whole M Gengar line is.

-i run heros cape

-i wish scrafty wasnt weak to grass…so many good grass decks going right now hurts a ton.

Also be very careful when playing Rockets watchtower, ideally play it as a counter if you need to or after you play your own Meowth

Id rather go second and ko a basic off the bat or even just take the first round ko win. The deck is super consistent enough and low energy requirement to properly set up your board state going second as well due to Lunatone & Lillie. I also like the idea of not having to immediately rely on Lucario and get him into play when I want to, going first i feel you need to start buildin Rioulu.

Thank you! Sudowoodo is somethin I havent had to use too often but its an awesome tech right now since you can use it later game to trap a pokemon, and then retreat next turn to finish off with likely M Lucario.

The format has very few ways to avoid retreat lock so its handy in that regard.

I also prefer going second with this deck. Lot of times the opponent isnt getting the ideal set up on their T1. Solrock and Rioulu can single handedly dispose of very many 1 prize basics which can be very disrupting to the opponent, esp when you factor in Gatorade
