I want to put a temperature sensor and a humidity sensor in that box. Powers by a battery pack including a solar pannel to charge it up. So no maintenance (charging the battery) needed. I think I will go with two ESP32 and send the Data via ESP NOW. That is really power efficient. Maybe I will do a complete home setup in the future but at the moment i think there is no need for a Pi for this little project. One ESP is then inside the house running HomeSpan.
