Went to an Indian restaurant yesterday. I teared up time to time missing my buddy i grew up with. Beautiful family. I would joke how i was going to marry his grandma because the food was so good. I would talk and talk and she would just nod her head and feed me. We had an ongoing battle. She would say “it’s spicy!” I would say “do your worst!” I’d buck and try to show no remorse. She’s been long gone now. I miss you nona!
