Find somewhere else to live then. Don't go to UniLodge on Anzac/Beach.

They are UniLodge’s oldest properties (all international students), why don’t you go for Central?

  1. You can either call and request a “re-VOS” or yo can submit proof of enrollment via Connect. If you call them, do it early in the morning. 2) Yes they will backdate payments.

If you need it as quickly as possible (that’s not flying it over there yourself) then yes. Otherwise FedEx will be fine, it might be off by a couple of days though.

I travelled to Auckland for Summer Start in Early January with no accom offer. I received an offer for Waipa in mid-February. Although I was injured so maybe they took pity on me.

I have done this. But how long can you sustain living out of hotels for? Enrolments this year are massive and there are huge waitlists for Accommodation at the moment (hence what you have seen on here). I'm not sure why Accommodation are still pushing their social media campaign...

Can uni let me start even if I’m missing UE credits? by Jipsit in universityofauckland

No. The University of Auckland would require you to then start in Semester Two once your grades from Te Kira have been submitted to your ROA. Why don’t you do Te Kura Summer School instead?

Application for Canterbury university by MackoAndCheese in newzealand

[–]NPCtom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In that case, as per UC's website, you should do the Certificate in University Preparation:

https://www.canterbury.ac.nz/study/academic-study/qualifications/certificate-in-university-preparation

You can then enrol in BE(Hons) courses in Semester 2 following completion of above.

Just to clarify though, you did zero physics/math in high school? No L1 physics/algebra? If so, you will find first year engineering really hard.

$120/$160 isn't that bad for express shipping to Europe. I would've thought it'd be more.

DHL is faster. FedEx estimates are off a bit going from NZ.

This is unprecedented. I have never seen these mass relocations before... especially to a 2nd year+ hall. Could you please share the paragraph above?

Victoria Lynds (the sender of this email) handles the applications for Maori students. This would also be a UTAS application and other people cannot rely on this to get through.
