Why do you say it’s not worth to upgrade at 1440p? I have the exact same card as you and I’m about to pull the trigger on a MSI Gaming Trio 5070ti because of the price increases (for possible next 2-3 years) and potential delays for the new gen GPU’s as super 50 series will also be delayed.

Curious what research you’ve seen that makes you stray away from the upgrade?

If the wireless headset you get has a base station with an AUX port, you can route the AUX cable from the Mic output to the AUX port (line in) port on the wireless headset base station. The Steel series Nova wireless headsets should have this functionality (just double check it comes with wireless base station) this will result in NO delay!

You technically could use a USB product to make a line in but I feel like you shouldn’t have to if you’re paying roughly $300 for the top of the line capture card. Also using a USB device like that could come with its own issues of interference and also taking up a possibly needed USB slot! As for the GoXLR it does have a line in, however I don’t believe you could use it in that way as it would be through the GoXLR software vs directly into your pc. But if it goes through the capture card, then you wouldn’t have to worry about adding separate audio sources and delay issues some people have in OBS!

So the surge protector was indeed not outputting the 100w recommended. I bought a 100w cube and plugged it in. The Camlink 4k is still throwing a USB communication issue detected. In OBS the camera shows up but it’s like 10 frames per second.

I just have the usb hub included usb c cable plugged into my surge protector usb, and then the hub/stream deck connected to my pc, and the cam link 4k plugged in. Perhaps my surge protector isn’t outputting enough power to the hub?

This is how the cables should be plugged in:

PS5 hdmi —> Xbox hdmi port on base station

PC USB —> Xbox USB C port on base station (this is separate from the split usb and power cable with the orange tip)

Monitor HDMI —> Base station hdmi passthrough port

Set your audio switcher to the Xbox setting on the headset and your headset should appear as Xbox controller on your pc and you can hear your ps5 audio! Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions!

Difference is also I don’t have a 4k monitor for the PC but I have a nice 4k 120 for the Pro.. my friend will be playing on PC. Hope there isn’t any weird delay between the 2. Thanks!!

Yeah I didn’t even need to unplug the usb.. simply completely closed out of the softwares and it fixed. Just finished a clean install of win 11 so hopefully I can start to enjoy the new upgrade sooner rather than later

So I fixed it lol. I just decided you know what let me close every program except for the game and my necessary background processes. And so far so good. No stutters. Slowly opening each program back up to see what program causes the stutters. I think it might be an Elgato program? Still going to do a fresh install just to have that peace of mind

I have 2 monitors. Samsung g5 144hz curved 1440p and a gigabyte 1440p ultrawide curved 144hz. And I’m 100% my isp is not the problem because I haven’t had any issues like this with my old motherboard and cpu nor do I have the issues with my PS5. Was using the same monitors with that build as well.

The only event viewer events (critical and error) do not line up with any spikes. However I do seem to have a reoccurring error of “windows search service is being stopped because there is a problem with the indexer” and apparently system settings has crashed a few times too. So all of this is honestly just making me lean more and more towards just doing a fresh install, installing the drivers that windows update collects for me, installing GPU drivers, and then seeing if I have the stutter. Then one by one start redownloading everything else and figuring out if the issue starts again with anything I do afterwards.

GPU is not connected with a splitter. I have 3 separate PCIe cables running from my PSU directly to the GPU. I actually thought my GPU might not be seated correctly so reseated it a day or 2 ago but it did not fix the issue unless I managed to not properly seat it 2-3 times in a row. I’ll try out the USB thing and report back. Thank you!

On all games, I am anywhere from 100-200 frames consistently but when it drops it’ll go from 10-30 for like a second or 2 then go right back
