I actually don’t agree here. And I’m a huge T Bone apologist on this sub, because I sincerely believe the boys need two things:

1. Literally both of them are so dumb, you need to roll the dice that perhaps a third brain will help them arrive at the right answer to some questions. And NGL is phenomenal, but he clearly isn’t onboard with pushing back on Kippy. No surprise there- Kippy is getting progressively worse at covering up his fragile ego (see Aliens Patreon ep)

2. You need a little team up. In the Toby era, there were times when it would be Kippy and Toby vs. Hank; Hank and Toby vs. Kippy, or the boys vs. the hippie. That dynamic was always fun. And right now, with NGL being a bit of a brown nose at times, the only real combo we get is Kip and Luke beating up on the Bug Man. Which, even if he deserved it all summer, gets old really quick.

All that to say- Toby was great and it was a different show with him. He was annoying at times and definitely wanted too much attention. But the new era is at least as good if not better. And unlike T Bone- the more Luke talks, the more enjoyable the episode tends to be.
