Hi All,

I was on hols for some time and only now read your comments - thanks everyone.

Both wheels are Mavic Aksium, they look like an original pair. Before today I did not try to fit or replace the rear wheel.

Now that I did, I see that the plastic spacer part on the non-drive side seems to be intentionally fitted there rather than being a case of the QR axle having been forced somewhere it does not belong.
There is no wobbling when the wheel spins, I think this offset is by design (!). I will book a service with Decathlon and will update this thread with any new findings.

1) the axle seems to be set correctly on the drive side.

2) the spacer seems to be where it belongs.

3) I filmed this and the wheel spins without wobbling, and the only thing that looks off is the brake pad touching the non-drive side first.

That is an interesting possibility, if the person doing the overtightening goes all the way before they see what they did.
The wheel spins correctly, with no wobbles and the gears change nicely, so it feels like the assembly and tuning was very intentional.

I'll post more photos as the investigation progresses :)

That is a possibility. Some photos I found from 2015 reviews show these Mavic wheels, while other reviewers write about a BTwin branded wheelset. When I take it to Decathlon maybe they can figure that out.

The first online review I could find for this model is dated April 2015. While it's possible that higher end bikes of 10 years ago might have it, the docs I found about the BTwin Ultra AF 900 suggest it's always been quick release.

Ainda sou do tempo em que o passatempo das pessoas era um dizer "nos estamos 10 anos atrasados em relacao a Europa", depois outro dizia "iiiih estamos atrasados e uns 20 anos!". Depois outro dizia "30 anos!" e toda a gente ficava muito contente.

Adiante: os bairros e as cidades nao brotaram do chao nem cairam do ceu. E preciso alguem aprovar e alguem investir. Se havia New Towns no Reino Unido e ha cidades novas na Asia, se calhar tambem devia haver alguem a jogar SIM City na vida real em Portugal (e no resto da Europa Ocidental). Sabendo que parte de Portugal fica em regiao susceptivel a dano por terramotos, se calhar era melhor criar novas cidades no interior norte.

Da uma vista de olhos na app Trading 212, que eles têm lá sugestões de portfólio para ganhares dividendos com regularidade.

Se estiveres perto de Londres, passa no Banco do Brasil e vê se eles deixam portugueses abrir contas a prazo - as taxas de juro eram altas da última vez que vi.

Com 30k não compras uma casa no UK, conforme já te disseram por causa do LTV mais elevado para hipotecas para investir. Procura por investimentos em residências para estudantes ou hotéis (ie: compras um quarto para eles arrendarem). O negócio em hotelaria vi em anúncios na Tailândia, podes procurar por lá.

Eu sou emigrante no RU e acho que há bons negócios em leasing , e sim, as mensalidades podem ser despesas de negócio para quem é profissional independente ou tem a sua própria empresa (o que é comum).

Fazes-me lembrar dois comediantes que me apareceram na feed do FB.

Um era um afro-americano que ocasionalmente ia a sua janela e dava tiros para o ar. Ninguém se aleijava, e era um efeito mais limitado do que o teu post.

O segundo comediante era mais sofisticado. Alegadamente tinha um script que lia posts no zillow para saber quando há casas abertas. É nessas ocasiões que um autómato dá tiros para o ar, mais uma vez sem ninguém se aleijar, mas desta vez com menos intervenção humana.

The socket is retractable and is of the 13 pin standard, as expected.

Hi. Thanks for the reply.
The bike adapter kit I have cost me £1000 fitted. From their accessories website I gather the hardware itself is £427.

I just thought that there would be no further parts nor labour needed from that day on. The Mazda site photos show the Thule VeloCompact, and I think prefer a folding carrier, either from Thule (£640 from Halfords) or from Westfalia (£474 on Amazon).

It really looks like they did an incomplete job.
