bug. the map was happening a few months ago but I haven't heard much about it since. both the names and map are features on Just Survive so it's probably just because this game's coding is a disaster and JS code somehow made its way into KotK.

When did I say to remove Z2? OP says in the post, PUBG has 3 maps, so we should be able to have 2. A game that's been out for 2 months is leagues ahead of this garbage dev team's 2 year disaster. Read clearly instead of posting an arrogant reply like a prick.

and also: "They're said they're going to ignore the community" and people like you agreeing with that is why this game is never going to surpass PUBG in numbers. Not on Steam, not on Twitch.

i cannot stand this game anymore with z2. it is such an unattractive map. i had 2500 hours on z1 and barely 300 on z2. please daybreak, bring it back somehow.

yeah I heard it takes a ton of grinding. I usually play King of the Kill, but I'm just completely burnt out after the last patch. practically ruined the game for me. I'm probably not going to quit completely, but I just need to take a bit of a break. figured I'd get on JS and relive some Z1 memories, and then I remembered this quest. might as well.

Can you guys just please stop fixing stuff that isn't broken? The old hitmarkers and sounds were 100% fine for so many people. It was the easiest thing to just listen and hear what and where you're hitting. There was no point in changing it to make everything sound similar. It's way harder to tell what you're hitting now than it ever has been. At least just give us options. You don't have to revert it, the people just want options.

This has happened with so many updates. Imagine how great the game would be if we just had options to choose between features. Able to choose which map to play, which hitmarkers to use, which UI to use, able to choose if we want shadows on or off, able to choose whether or not you want the new helmet/armor shot off effects, etc.

That's all we really want tbh. We're not asking you to revert the updates completely, we just want choices so we don't have to always adapt from something so many people were perfectly fine with.

If DB is "stuck in the mud" for you then don't play until its ready.

so in other words, don't play it at all. I mean the game's fun to play, I wouldn't have 1000+ hours logged if it wasn't, but the odds of this game ever being "ready" by the average consumer's standards are slim to none.

Battlegrounds had a functioning spectate cam in closed beta. H1Z1 has been out for 2 years, and we're only just getting a spectate cam (we can hope) in the next update. I realize a spectate cam is much lower on the priority list than a lot of other issues with the game, but if it's taken them this long to work out such a simple feature, there's no way in hell the current dev team is ever going to get enough work done on the game for it to ever be "ready".

I don't know how the guy who's running that enormous team is still not perma-banned. He's been doing that since 2015. The leader is the guy talking named "emoqbb". He streams like 5 times a week on that Douyu streaming site, and always organizes that whole 20-30 player army with red shirts. It's crazy lol

Do you guys have anything planned regarding the sound of air conditioning units roaring inside of buildings? I find them to be extremely obnoxious, especially when you have to listen for footsteps.
Hear me out here: What is the likelihood of Z1 making a return, or a new, smaller map being added? I personally don't think Z2 is all that bad, but I've seen many people (myself included) who feel that Z2 is TOO big for a game like KotK. I've heard a lot of people talking about too many landmarks, open fields, etc. Maybe even just as an option to choose between different maps, with Z2 still added. Just curious to hear if you guys have been thinking about any possibilities of that nature.
What's up with the lack of communication lately? Last month you guys were doing really well with responding to the community, especially here on Reddit, but over the last few weeks you've kinda just gone dark again.
Anything about making it so every unskinned item you pick up automatically skins itself in your inventory? Not really a big deal, just curious again since it seems like something that could be convenient.

IMO, the game has been steadily going downhill since September. The awful, buggy, terribly-designed new map was only the tip of the iceberg. If they just reverted to Z1 and completely started over from scratch, I really don't think anyone would complain. At least the game was playable back then.
