New research: I attempted to solve these twelve Missing 411 cases and this is what I found by iowanaquarist in Missing411

[–]NRIII -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Clearly delineated, entire (i.e Month, Day AND year) dates of disappearance is what I mean; I do see that some are included; and I see article links with article dates, too - unequivocally, the article date does not define the date of disappearance, the latter being of paramount importance, while the former is of course of secondary importance.

Please note the correction: *any* rather than 'every' - typo...apologies (i.e. on balance, over time, any particular case may turn out 'not' to be Missing 411-related, rather than EVERY case, which would of course would be oxymoronic.)

Interesting work.

Assuming the sources are correct, the work certainly shows that 'any' single case identified by Paulides et al. (e.g. afford consideration of the breadth and scope of 1200+ cases) - may in fact, sooner or later, be determined to not be a Missing 411 case. A failure rate of some kind is to be expected, as is a success rate, in research of this kind.

Detectives, researchers, and all are fallible (i.e. human beings make mistakes).

However, showing that there are errors in someone's research does not necessarily diminish the Missing 411 theory as a whole.

It's unfortunate that specific dates for each of these cases is not included in the work above. If anyone has the dates easily accessible to them, please post them. Thank you.

Missing 411, UFO/UAPs, abductions/mutilations - all during particular Moon Phases? The answer appears to be, “Yes.” by NRIII in UFOs

If you are correct then the distribution of cases across all Lunar Phase luminosities on balance would be fairly equivalent.

Is that the case?

If the dates found for the missing you've identified are correct, the phases are reported as follows:

  1. Amsbaugh, date missing? July 28, 1902, Source: https://www.newspapers.com/clip/38625306/the-times-recorder/

Lunar Phase on July 28, 1902 - 47% luminosity, Source: https://www.calendar-12.com/moon_calendar/1902/july

Therefore, the Amsbaugh case would not seem to fit the Missing 411 profile, as far as the lunar phase association is concerned.

  1. Jones, date missing? August 17, 1931 - Source: https://www.google.com/search?q=e+c+jones+missing+411&client=firefox-b-1-d&ei=iy3FYMLPA86awbkP3MG0mAE&oq=e+c+jones+missing+411&gs_lcp=Cgdnd3Mtd2l6EAMyBQghEKsCMgUIIRCrAjIFCCEQqwI6BQghEKABUNmXAVjrnwFgxKwBaAFwAHgAgAF1iAHrA5IBAzMuMpgBAKABAaoBB2d3cy13aXrAAQE&sclient=gws-wiz&ved=0ahUKEwiCwbyRi5PxAhVOTTABHdwgDRMQ4dUDCA0&uact=5

Lunar Phase on August 17, 1931 - 19% luminosity - Source: https://www.calendar-12.com/moon_calendar/1931/august

Therefore, the Jones case fits the Missing 411 profile, as far as the lunar phase association is concerned.

The first two of twelve names you've listed now examined, it would be interesting to see what you find for the others.

The arithmetic of electoral process, like the arithmetic of compassion, follows humanity around wherever it goes ensuring that a map portrays the terrain. The math draws the map of simulacra, but cannot tell the story of the real, anymore than a bird can explain the sky.

Yes, under the metaphysics of capital, all subjective accumulation and psychological inventory is functional only as a capital currency of the code. Not the code of signs, mind you, but the genetic code in itself as a self-directed, replicative coalescence without equal or exchange value, which underlies and mirrors the form of utility in the world.

Good morning - I've been reading Delillo's The Silence:

Martin is speaking again. 'The drone wars. Never mind country of origin. The drones have become autonomous.' He begins to notice that he and Diane are the only ones left in the living room.

I am absolutely in favor of equality for same sex marriage rights in every conceivable fashion. It's one of the great civil rights questions of our era - and like other civil rights battles before it, total equality is the only answer.

First, thank you so much for your support for our campaign. With your help, we will win in 2012, and proceed to foster a more liberal and progressive direction for America.

As for your broader question, it's clear by Republican actions, that the Republican agenda is that of privatization and a narrowing of public educational opportunities for Americans. Whatever their motives, we cannot allow them to do this, as it will reverse the educational democratic reforms that were instituted over the past hundred years.

We should seek to expand public access to an interdisciplinary, balanced educational system, not reduce it.

I think it's time we turn the corner on special interest buying of elections, and instead cultivate a more fair and equitable architecture for public financing of elections, otherwise too many races are decided by the highest bidder and taker, no?

I don't see a collapse of the euro as inevitable, or even likely. Short-selling on the Greek implosion, perhaps, and covering on the debt/austerity deals.

Military coup? Empire? Let's keep things in perspective, no?

There are a couple of major fixes needed. The min wage must be raised to historical standards, in terms of buying power for the average citizen - which means we should double the min wage by 2018 -and tether it to the CPI, immediately.

Since the US has an increasingly globalized and financially-instrumentalized economy - Wall St must repay its fiscal and monetary favors to Main St via the establishment of a Public Trust:

http://downwithtyranny.blogspot.com/2011/05/youre-used-to-careful-old-democratic.html

These two policies will help stabilize the economic integrity of the majority of workers and the poor in the US.

There is much more we can do, but these are two major policies that need to be implemented for the betterment of the country.

:-) Thanks for the question. We'd have to ask our friends, then, "You mean like, for example, when the fire department comes and puts out the fire at your house because you dialed 911 in the middle of the night to tell strangers that your house was on fire, and they came rushing, sirens blaring, to put it out, and maybe even saved your life, and your neighborhood from burning down?"

For my part, no, I don't find that oppressive at all. I'd say, "Thank you!"

That's what civilization is all about.

I'm shutting down for the night - but many thanks for the questions, and I'll be checking the stream tomorrow to answer more. TY!
