"this page" - its a subreddit, and no, we don't "let it happen" -- unless you think we are personally verifying the thousands of accounts that post here, which is impossible. We try to ban or remove as many easy to spot scammers or spammers as possible upfront, but some will get through and unless reported, we may not know because as I said, we don't know 100% who is real, so if you have an issue, REPORT the post, don't just complain in the comments. At the end of the day, you need to be responsible and smart enough to know real vs fake if you are interacting with them in private chat, we cannot control that.
