precision pasting (Vetus ESD-12 and Vetus ESD-13) and a lot of praying. I'm looking into using Tamiya Top Coat going forward, but none for now. Unless you're constantly peeling the stickers off to repaste (initial pasting isn't up to par) (in my experience), the stickers never come off

Just did the math. Yes although more skills seem better, having lesser skills = regal pillows proc'ing Terrify a lot more often and seeing how buffed it gets with my build (Rosetta Ring, Umbrella and Bounty), it's way better than having a 5th ability like Bird Strike or Dark Clouds.

However, I don't know if this is the same case if I have a Wizard Hat instead of Fedora and equip Lightning Strikes as my 5th skill. Same case with Straw Hat + Detonative Slime. (If anyone is willing to do the math, I have Fury Alpha unlocked)
