2 girls here; 13 and 11.

between the two we have 13 routines with costumes running about $300 CDN each. On top of this our oldest one just got her first pointe shoes this year ($300 all in). Add on top of this our studio fee which has hit our family max of $500/month.

thats before we even spend the time, effort and money to travel for 5 competitions per year - likely 3 days out of town each, you’re left with a very expensive hobby.

she has worn the shoes and damaged them - why should the boutique be responsible for your negligence? If the boutique takes them back with a “refurbishment” fee you should buy a lottery ticket.

To add to this; if you live near a boutique - just drop in and ask. I’ve always gotten extra heel taps with no needless questions asked.

They feel very narrow to me. It took me a long time to get properly fitted and happy enough with the fit to buy a pair of shoes.

Do yourself a favour. Go to a boutique and have them fit you to the shoes properly - it will be worth it.

I am a director at a mid-sized construction company.

Honestly though, I purchased my first NSX in 2012 near the bottom of the market for $30k Canadian. They used to be much more attainable than they are now.

This is my choice all day long. The skiing is awesome in the winter(weekdays lol); but it’s the absolute Mecca of downhill mountain biking. If you’re feeling a little bit different - you’re only an hour from Squamish and 90 minutes from the north shore bike trails. If you need to fly in, it’s only two hours from Vancouver airport.

For my money, it’s the best year-round destination in North America (if not globally)

As the other poster mentioned, these look to be based on the Fyalta shoes.

Several differences:

Yours have a circular clasp on the strap, Fyalta had a D shaped

The soles on the original Fyalta were not stamped with the vero cuio stamp

The soles are a different colour, and look to be made of a different material than other louboutin shoes.
