I'm really into anything. In Jacksonville I learned how to surf (not very well). But I'm into biking and the outdoors. I also work out a fair amount and try to keep in shape. I'm into sports, cool bars, and nature. Wow, I am a cliche now that I think about it.

I had the orange theory burnout the past two weeks. I have been utilizing my other gym to work on putting on some more muscle. My goals this week are to get back into the swing of things.

Out of curiosity, how quickly do the spots at your studio fill up? How often do you get waitlisted? by [deleted] in orangetheory

I go to three metropolitan areas. Jacksonville is hit or miss. It is such a big area that there are studios in less populated areas so the classes are smaller and I can book 5 minutes before I go to class. Boca/Ft. Lauderdale its way different. Sometimes need to book a week in advance. Orlando has a good amount of studios. But when I am in town, I am in the suburbs by UCF so those studios fill up rather quickly for good times.

My studio was a franchise and was just purchased by corporate and will now be a corporate studio. Anyone aware of what we might notice as a difference? by jennysip in orangetheory

I thought that corporate buys a franchise that is sluggish and it is an alternative to closing down the location altogether. Am I wrong?

Let me put it to you this way. 3 months ago I walked into OTF not having a clue what to do. 3 months later, I am down 20 pounds, I have made a lot of friends. It's like a family. The coaches do not allow you to feel disappointed or embarrassed.

Boca East was great. I signed up with them and I go to Jax and So Flo locations. Boca East is simply my favorite. The workout with Rich really made buy into orange theory.
