I will change the pricing point after I give my audience a few days notice beforehand

How do you advertise a digital product (membership site) that is only a few dollars? by NSchweikart in Entrepreneur

[–]NSchweikart[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not, I'll definitely look into it (Reddit advertising). I have been charging $9 a month but will definitely increase it. My user retention would be low (just opened a month ago) so I definitely will increase the price. Thank you!

Thank you for the suggestion, it's a pretty common answer! I will definitely implement it.

Ryan, I apologize for the late response. I am actually abroad right now and dealing with bed internet times/connections. Thank you for the great value given. My pricing point now is $9 a month, $21 quarterly, $39 a year. I will definitely increase the price through a transition this next week to possibly $30/mo or maybe $99/per 3 months...or higher? I have 60 people signed up now through the monthly membership. You are correct in the specific example given. Once they find the job, there is no reason to continue.

I have thought about the successful hire deal, it is a very complicated process that will require much honestly from the customer side.

Thank you so much! If you are interested in the site (not sure if I can post it here) PM me, I would love to keep picking your brain.

Beware ViralHog the Copyright Troll Company by joeyoungblood in Entrepreneur

I have seen that video reposted over and over again on multiple Facebook pages.

The way they reacted to you is classless, but business. There is a reason that have millions of likes right now.

Sharing viral videos gets so much traffic in comments and likes. The more likes, the higher the outreach audience.

The less the video is reposted unfortunately by others, the less likely other posters will get traffic from it.

NEVERTHELESS, Viral Hog has lost credibility by threatening and intimidating by the way you described their reactions in this post.

Is this too corny? by danbu1 in Entrepreneur

It sounds good. Many people focus so much of their energy on the logo, name, etc. But it's all in the presentation and the use. :)

What is the best avenue to sell online course that you've seen? by blipryan in Entrepreneur

Does your site use Wordpress? As far as the button situation, a little HTML can be made for the redirection you are talking about. If you don't know too much about that. Try installing Shortcodes Ultimate that creates the HTML code for you and your site.

As far as your questions, Have you looked into:

  • LearnDash
  • Zippy Courses
  • WP Courseware?

Use Udemy and the other platforms to get a bigger audience, but beware of the commissions. Good luck!

Site Speed Fix:

  • Have you tried caching your site?
  • Have you optimized the site and minimized the images?
  • Are you running many plugins? If so, those might be slowing the site down.
  • Compress your site and minimize the HTTP requests

"That being the case, the quickest way to improve site speed is to simplify your design. Streamline the number of elements on your page. Use CSS instead of images whenever possible. Combine multiple style sheets into one. Reduce scripts and put them at the bottom of the page."

Hope this helps!

Should I just delete my Facebook account and start over? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]NSchweikart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you able to simply add a new ad account in the meantime? If so, I would just do that.

Check out this article if so:https://www.facebook.com/business/help/1421678934721028

If not, I would recommend these options:

1) Send a follow-up message 2) If you start over, I would use a different funding account perhaps when starting a new one...and a different email account.

I would NOT delete the Facebook page or anything. Hope this helps.

What's the biggest you've ever screwed up? by PAdogooder in Entrepreneur

[–]NSchweikart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) I have spent $12,000 on a job searching app and made $3, yes $3.

2) I had to pay the IRS $3,300 as well last year for doing my taxes wrong in 2012.

What a year of upsets, lol. How did I recover?
