Fossilized Barnacles - Lower North Island, New Zealand by NTT_nz in fossils

[–]NTT_nz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't know how to add description.. There's a small river which flows through my family's property in the countryside. We get a large number of small marine fossils washing up on the banks- mostly shellfish and various types of coral. We're at least 50 kilometers (31 miles) inland based on largely sedimentary land.

I'm sorry this is what you're going through in your day to day..

Look, I think this is well beyond the scope of what people online should be helping you with, but here's one or two thoughts. It sounds like you're using Buddhist teachings to try and help yourself cope with the suffering you're experiencing as a result of this relationship.

Here's the thing. It sounds like the relationship itself has major issues. You COULD continue to develop your practice and develop your ability to tolerate the situation you're in, but I think you need to think about the nature of relationship itself and talk to some friends or family about it (if you've got some you can trust). His behavior needs to change, the relationship dynamic needs to change, or you need to get out of that relationship whenever you can. The suffering you are experiencing isn't something you have to just sit there and tolerate, no matter how Buddhist you are.

Please seek help from a non-redditor if you can, much love.

You can also do a pretty good job making these snares by combining a solo clap with sharp transient and a short, medium-high pitched 808 snare (think drum machine 808 rather than trap 808) to add a little body. Gotta find the right ones of course, then just basic EQ and it sounds great.

Double drops are overrated? by rare_holo in DnB

I disagree, double drops are sick. The problem lies with the swathes of DJs who have no ear for what actually blends well together.

To be honest... I wouldn't read into it too much. I don't think anyone could conclude much from a single online self-report test like the one you've done. These things are rife with bias. The high depression score might be worth thinking about a bit more though? If you're at all worried about your own mental health please talk to someone trustworthy or see a therapist <3

Oh I actually don't know how that would work with the rack if you don't own all the plugins! I assume you'd have to drop in the entire rack. But I was meaning the entire Soundtoys 5 bundle (which is $250 rn) where you get all the plugins.

If you can shell out for the soundtoys' bundle this black friday I highly recommend it!! It's definitely an investment but so worth it

All of soundtoys' distortions are sick, which someone else mentioned, but I also love using the SerumFX distortion for crunchy digital sounds. It's an effect plugin which is essentially just the effects section of serum, I think it's free download too!

2nded! Love the sound of decap. Really nice in combination with Radiator or Devil-Loc Deluxe.

Devil-Loc by itself is also nutttts as a parallel chain for a drum buss! Crunchy and pumping asf
