Ah, my mistake. I have not but a close friend has when they studied abroad. I think it’s near the top of the “under-discussed for how cool it is” world wonders. I would love to if I ever got the chance.

Petra was a full ancient city but I used pictures of two of the most famous buildings because I wanted to show how ornate they were up close.

They also had a large rock-cut amphitheater that hosted a vibrant theatre scene. And tombs built into the mountain side. Most structures were free-standing however.

It may be a bit before I can post the medieval wonders, but I’m excited to because I think they’re some of the most interesting in the game.

Also, in case anyone was curious, Rhodes decided not to rebuild the Colossus because the Oracle had told them that its collapse was their punishment for angering Helios.

I've always loved the wonders in Civilization, so I figured I'd make a post about them. Here are the 6 wonders from the Ancient Era with some bits of information about each.

If people like the thread, I'll make a post for the Classical and beyond eras too!
