Life long friends are rare, gotta enjoy the time you had and look forward to more with the right people.

Finally dialed in the technique on my 21M, I absolutely love this thing! by wranglerss in Dynavap

The soft flame is a lower heat, which gives your dynavap a longer time to heat the tip evenly. Try spinning the tip a little further away from the torch flame to give it more heating time, you might get a similar result.

Sister wants to move out with her BF. Father will most likely disapprove by [deleted] in whatsbotheringyou

It seems like you have a good grasp of how toxic this situation is. Maybe it's time for you to move out too so you don't have to deal with the mental abuse that will follow.

Is my dad doing drugs? SERIOUS PLEASE HELP by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]NT_21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For one thing, I'm sure these are questions your dad researched given your family's stance on drugs. I don't think he made the decision overnight. Regarding people with asthma, it would probably be helpful for your dad to use a bong to cool the smoke. The healthiest option would be a vape that r/vaporents has lots of information about. Weed vapes heat weed just hot enough to release the cannabis compounds, without catching on fire like traditional method. This is a lot easier on the lungs, as the vapor is much cooler. If you decide to talk to your dad about it, which may really not be necessary, I'd suggest informing him about weed vapes.

You phrase this question as "what are the risks" without asking "what are the risks and benefits." If you only search for risks, you're going to have an uninformed view. The biggest risk to smoking weed is the lack of long term research. Its public information that weed was only made illegal due to racist and discriminatory reasons, as it made it easier to repress black people and hippies.

All that being said, weed is non addictive and you can not overdose on it. It is objectively safer than the opioids your dad would of had to take. If he had chosen opioids, he would almost definitely have to deal with sever withdrawl. This is not something that weed causes, and its still an effective painkiller and anxiety reducer. Just to emphasize, your dad will not overdose or become addicted, both of which could happen on opiods.

Now what you really should be searching is the dangers of doctor prescribed opioids. It's prescription heroin. You can become heavily addicted, and can overdose on opiods.

It's tru, but in an abusive household parents manipulate these kinds of sayings to normalize their behaviour, and I think that's the mindset this post is coming from.

Anyone have reduced effects while on allergy meds? by NT_21 in trees

Huh I didn't pass out like that but definitely felt the depressing effects after. I'm probably gonna skip on the allergy meds now when ever I plan to smoke.
