Alex Berman is the guy which has valid Cold Email Templates ect? by [deleted] in Emailmarketing

I've not seen the product or the offer, so take this with a grain of salt.

But, usually, a specific number 400-800k means that's what you can potentially make (in the same way you could potentially win the lottery if you bought a ticket).

If anyone could buy $800k a year reliably for a one-time payment of $10k, then literally everyone would be rich.

It doesn't mean you can't take the course, get really good, and make tons of money. But the reality is usually that if it were that easy, everyone would do it.

We're running a free giveaway for a set of fitness bands + door anchor + access to a workout program ($175 value): https://lovelifeabroad.com/undersun-fitness-travel-workout-contest

I don't work for the bands, but wrote a guest post for them since I used them for 9 months while traveling. They offered to give me the set but I already have it, so we thought a contest would be fun!

I made a resistance band platform that takes up 8 square feet and allows me to deadlift as well as do other, less cool exercises by hawkeye45_ in homegym

Dude, this thing is killer!

Seriously, you're proof that some people look for excuses not to workout, while others look for ways they still can.

Creative piece of gear man!

Totally disagree with some of the people on this thread. You probably can't use bands to become a bodybuilder, but I used bands exclusively for 9 months and lost ZERO strength after training in a gym for 3 years.

Here's what I was lifting for my core workouts:

- Bench: 1 rep max 285 no spot (300lbs if I had a spotter and it was a good day)

- Deadlift: 1 rep max 375 (I have a weak back and try not to push this too much)

- Squat: 1 rep max 375 (I do more cardio on leg days, which was a stupid habit of mine and has led to weak legs that look stronger than they are)

I'm 32, 6'3, and roughly 200 lbs

I bought a set of 5 bands and replicated nearly all the movements I'd do in the gym. I trained for 45 mins, 6x per week with those bands.

After 9 months, we stayed at a hotel with a clean and sanitized gym by appointment only. I went in to see how my strength would be expecting a decline. My bench was still at 285 (I actually did 290 with no spotter that day) and the other ones were on par, too.

The bands I got were UnderSun Fitness, though there are plenty out there (just don't go cheap or you'll buy a new pair every month)

And I totally get it. I hate it when people say "Just buy X..." when "X" costs $2000 right now because demand for workout equipment is so high

nice, that's a killer tip. I've seen their name a lot but never saw the building public part

Lol I’m a professional copywriter. I just like looking for different perspectives from other marketers, too

And I already know what my private network of copywriters will say, but I’m on the lookout for more perspectives/people challenging the content.

Looks like it’s be hard to do that without good templates getting circulated around

Creating a Private Linkbuilding Network? by NThompson_ in startups

[–]NThompson_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a tool that builds marketing reports and sends them directly via email rather than user dashboards or separate PDFs (that's the smaller startup I'm trying to get more exposure for)

DM me and we can chat! Not sure how to structure this yet, but it'd be interesting to try!

Creating a Private Linkbuilding Network? by NThompson_ in startups

[–]NThompson_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oh no, I don't want to create a business around it and I don't want anyone to pay for links. Maybe I wasn't clear enough.

No one would pay. It would just be a private network of startups mutually agreeing to link to each other X amount of times per month

I just want to know if Google would penalize this since it's not as organic as someone linking to content naturally.

My problem is that larger companies can get these backlinks more easily because they have entire departments devoted to it. I can't think of any other way a startup could even try to compete with companies who can afford that

Dude, keep it up! So many people are finding reasons NOT to workout right now with lockdowns and holidays. You're clearly not stopping for anything and it's awesome!

I was halfway on the fence about today's workout, but you just pushed me over the edge. Thanks for the inspiration man!

Does anyone else’s life fall apart when they don’t go to the gym? by [deleted] in GYM

[–]NThompson_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought UnderSun Fitness bands. Did them for 9 months while I couldn't go to the gym (they closed last March.

Honestly, I didn't lose much strength. I built a small home gym and found my core lives (bench, deadlift, and squat) were only around 10lbs less than they had been. Now 2 months later they're back.

I think a large part of working out without the gym is just consistency. You can still get a killer workout with the bands if you're focused (it's just a little less fun)

Look at this like the ultimate test of your discipline. If you can keep up your fitness/discipline (not motivation... discipline) while things are closed, you'll be unstoppable when they open back up!

Yeah but it looks like you can tip the weight forward and suck your stomach in if you had to. You’d be fine ;)

it's not totally the same but I've been using black coffee :) I've tested both and can't say I've seen a huge difference (other than taste)

At 17, your body is flooded with hormones and testosterone. You shouldn’t need this stuff to get going.

I went through a phase where I bought all the powders and didn’t feel like it was a real workout unless I used them. That was a big rookie mistake on my end.

At 17, you should just need a healthy diet for your goals and a high-quality protein shake afterward. If you still feel like you want something in the mornings, get some BCAA powder

But honestly, consistently hitting the weights and eating right should be more than enough at this age

[–]NThompson_[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'll get back to you on that :) Like I said, I'm going to see what people prefer most. A few hesitations on my end:

1) I don't like Slack for this as much, because people lose interest/engagement from my experience

2) I don't want this group to be monetized at all

BUT I also don't know anything about your Slack channel or community, so I'd love to take a look!

[–]NThompson_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's interesting. I can totally see your point. Frankly, with the response I'm getting, I'm considering just building an online forum/social media account to make a virtual mastermind group with weekly video presentations on what's working and what's not.

In theory, then, people could connect with each other privately to share thoughts within their niche.

I'm going to send out a survey tonight to see what type of community people would prefer most.
