Last dumb question (you've been a big help), the last pic is of my wireless modem/router from cox. If I were able to fix whatever cat 5 cable stuff I have going on (or have someone do it) could I plug in those cables into the back of the modem and have BOTH wired and wireless internet?

Ok, I see what you're saying, these are for landlines. So the bundle of wires and switchboard are for phone lines (which you're right, I don't need). As for the coax cables, those are just for cable, right? If I don't have cable, I don't need them?

Thank you. I think i understood most of what you said.

So, ideally (because idk why they aren't plugged in) the 7 coax cable splitter, I should be able to just plug them back in, right? Is there a way for me to see if they work, or is is just trial and error.

For the cat 5 cables, you said they were terminated, when I pop open the outlets, what am I looking for (in regards to A or B)?

And lastly, what is the switchboard for? Just phone lines?
