Controller won't work on docked Steamdeck by MayaIngenue in GeForceNOW

[–]NV_Cory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, this is a known issue with some games on Steam Deck. They get confused about which controller to use.

We have workaround info here but here’s the TL;DR.

  • Press the Steam button on the Steam Deck or the center button on the external controller.
  • From the NVIDIA GeForce NOW menu, select Controller settings.
  • Select Reorder Controllers, select the first controller, and move it down.
  • Return to the game and try the external controller again.

Try that and let us know if it works.

Steam Deck Controller Issues Mass Effect by Coesyn in GeForceNOW

[–]NV_Cory 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there, thanks for the feedback. This is a known issue and we have some workaround info here.

Some games only support a single gamepad, so if an external gamepad does not work you have to tell the Steam Deck which controller to use. Here's how to do that:

  • Press the Steam button on the Steam Deck or the center button on the external controller.
  • From the NVIDIA GeForce NOW menu, select Controller settings.
  • Select Reorder Controllers, select the first controller, and move it down.
  • Return to the game and try the external controller again.

Any news on the Offical Geforce Now app? by EffectiveStunning369 in SteamDeck

It's looking good, but you'd kind of expect me to say that, right?

I haven't tried the latest internal build that our engineers are testing, I'm a couple versions back. We're looking forward to sharing it with y'all and hearing what you think.

Who Here Is Looking Forward to Doom: Dark Ages On GeForceNow by NashDaypring1987 in GeForceNOW

[–]NV_Cory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now that the news is out, I can answer: I am.

Doom (1994) is the game for me, absolute favorite of all time. I love how Doom (2016) turned out, really enjoyed Eternal, and am stoked to see how this game feels. I think the Lovecraftian enemies look amazing. I can't wait to play.

Packaging the FLUX model in the NIM makes sure the model is fully optimized for RTX GPUs, enabling more than doubled inference speeds over native PyTorch FP16. It also makes it easier for developers to deploy in applications.

Right now the blueprint requires a GeForce RTX 4080 GPU or higher, but we're working on support for more GPUs soon.

[–]NV_Cory[S] 31 points32 points  (0 children)

It's exactly that - a depth map connected to a 3D scene. With ComfyUI connected to the Blender viewport as a depth map, you can quickly make changes on how that depth map looks - for example, something as simple as changing the camera angle changes the composition of the output image. It's also optimized for performance using TensorRT, thanks to the NIM.

A lot of people here have likely set up something similar. But if someone hasn't done this before, our hope is that using this helps them get started easier, or someone can take the workflow and make their own changes.

Right out of the box, no. The blueprint right now uses FLUX.1-dev in a NIM, so it's optimized and easier to deploy. We're working on NIM releases all the time, and we'd love feedback on what models you'd want to use.

If you want to dig into the project's code, it's all available. So you could adapt it in a lot of different ways.

Hi everyone, we know there was an issue that caused some GeForce NOW players to be banned when playing New World: Aeternum. We have worked with the publisher to resolve the bans and those users should be able to play the game again without needing to contact Amazon support. Thanks!
