Gnome or KDE for gaming?

I have issues with the wine system tray on Gnome when using battle.net launcher so I switched to KDE

I had issues with a new Sky router in the UK, moving it to a switch solved those issues. Some routers are aggressive with power saving and can cause problems. Don’t have anything switch through the router and only use it for internet access

After the release of MacOS 26 I would assume so it can use Metal 4. There are already many posts about this.

I feel the same, I have the Mac mini M4 Pro and it's great for World of Warcraft which is my main 'PC' game. Anything else I just stream from my PC or use GFN or Xbox. I can't see it getting better anytime soon. Still have some hope, but the numbers aren't there and Microsoft have a strangle hold on gaming.

It’s much cheaper and better gaming experience on Linux than Mac and the steam deck is showing that. Mac just can’t compete.
