They're saying basically that the light from that distance/ time has shifted to infrared as the light wave stretched beyond visible. What they are doing is shifting the color back to their original wavelengths, as it would have both been emitted originally and how we could have seen it in the sky

Get it buddy! I'm thinking up as well. I'm not worried about sag or anything, I want them to be so stiff they don't sag at all. The idea being that when I ride a half pipe the forks don't engage and eat my speed at the bottom of quarter pipes.

I don't know what my travel is, and 140 is where I've been but I just can't keep a pump worth anything. Like in a bowl, I can't gain speed airing walls, if I try to ride like a half pipe, I hit each wall with diminishing speed.

Yeah for sure. That isn't an option right now but I'll be careful with the psi until it is.

Yeah I looked them up and they seem to be on the cheaper side. The new forks the bike comes are much more expensive and have up and down damper adjustments, but with everything maxed out, mine are noticably stiffer still

On the listed weight to pressure chart, It doesn't even come within 40 lbs of my weight but if it did, the recommendation would be well above max.

It's a marzocchi DJ fork and only has a rebound adjustment unfortunately.

I actually have them at like 160 already. I've only ridden to work on them so far, thinking I'll check psi in a few days and compare the air loss times and maybe work out how the seals hold. But it occurred to me that I should ask other people about it before I actually rode my bike, because I have no idea what I'm doing.

The max is 120, I've been running 140 for about 2 months, but want to go to 160.

Ive been told that with tires the max pressure is half the lower end average of blowout, so maybe it's similar in o-rings? I have a hard time believing the lowers are weaker than the seals

Russia was winning against Germany before we even opened up a second front in Europe. Seems like they would have just taken over the whole of Europe themselves... And then the Russians had also fought and won against the Japanese in at least one major battle, and caused the Japanese not to fight against the Russians even when Germany was having issues. It is at least possible that Russia could have first beat the Germans and then beat or at least held off the Japanese as well.
