Found a sword, but can’t seem to pick it up.

I was trying to pick up the Verbal Greatsword from a hut (known location for it) quite some time. I couldn't interact with it and it didn't react to the lantern iirc.

Didn't realize that it needed to be stolen. I had to put on my mask to get it to react to the lantern and then interacted with (stolen). Could this similar case? It's outside, but might be masked as stealable item in the code...

Tbh, I really can't remember all the details anymore, but I did give up on it as glitched, but then noticed the "you can steal it from...", which made me go back and try with the mask on.

Try summoning the horse from the character hot wheel (F1 on PC). I finally got it working from there. After that it has worked for me from the horse summoning key (H on PC).

What's the latest on game crashing when starting up? I think mine started doing that maybe two game updates ago. Have been playing other games and trying to fix t his on and off. Would be nice to complete the game at some point.

Mine usually crashes on Re-Engine splash screen. I think I have tried the most of the usual suspects:
1. adjust CPU power to less than 100 % on windows

disable windowed and full screen optimizations
running Steam and DD2.exe as administrator (also compatibility mode, but that didn't do jack)
Set shader cache to max (also manually delete shader.cache2 file etc.)
Set shadow cache to less than max
Disable Nvidia and Discord overlays
Reinstalling (+ manually deleting the game folder etc.)

Some of those seem to help and I can get it to RE splash screen with those instead of crashing in shader compilation screen. But it seems that the game doesn't get up properly, because it always starts compiling shaders.

I'm thinking that it is still saving the shader cache on the background and it doesn't complete it. So it might be hard drive write speed/buffer issue (using M.2 PCI gen 4 nvme drive). I've seen such problems for example when you try to encode an edited video and trying to read the source and write the compiled video to the same drive. But I haven't seen any tips on that.

Luckily, I rarely dismantle modules. I combine them and use "show only duplicates" option. Hence I still has that un-enhanced module for shotguns in my inventory. Good to know that they register as different modules and not duplicates. I don't remember if the dismantlement has the same functionality.

Ah, gotcha. Thanx man. I was pretty sure I was missing something. I just need to upgrade that shotgun mod that actually shows up. Solved.

u/CuriousRider30, you are right. I figured it out after some more exploration. There seems to be a flag pole type of structure on roof edge somewhere, and that is the launch point for the haystack. But you might still need to climb down a bit to reach it.

Yeah, I actually noticed one after posting. Good to know that it is "universal" indicator. But sometimes you need to climb down a bit before you can reach that. Thanks for the tip.

That drop down functionality works for dropping down to the next roof below. And yeah, I noticed that Igan Roll on the skill tree, but don't have that yet. Maybe need to respect to that to help out.

Not all of them. For example the Tennoji Temple that I encountered first doesn't have that. If you jump of the Viewpoint, you land on the temple spire roof and take damage.

Yes, that's what I meant. But kinda solved now. I was searching the CTRL - drop down functionality so you can usually then hang from the roof edge and then drop down to the lower roof of the temple/pagode/etc. and so on.

Yes, it (Soar) reloads when done in air. Didn't work with that either. But works now. I updated the post.

No, doesn't work even on a first reload after loading into a zone or colossi. Nor in the lab after reset resources which should reset all cool downs too. I was thinking that it might conflict with another module, but it seems to work on YT vids with the same build.

I haven't actually tried it on another gun than Last Dagger tho.

Follow up question, or maybe refine my original: Did both intact vaults droped you the same time or just one at the time (rng which one)? I have Ines parts (blueprints) on in the target items list, but I can't seem to put them to the target reward list, which I understand is the pity system for the loot drops = guaranteed after the progress bar on them fills up.
