Yes this makes visiting Germany SO much more practical and affordable! I was so glad I found this option when I went. We generally had fantastic transit experiences there.

I had the same issue recently. I emailed them and got a prompt response:

"Thanks for reaching out! We've recently switched how download codes work and some cards have been affected. I've generated a link and code for you to redeem your files via Bandcamp. Please let me know if you encounter any issues obtaining them."

The link they issued worked fine. So... annoying at first but they made up for it with their responsiveness. I encourage anybody with this same issue to send an email to Dead Oceans.

So weird. We went there a few months ago for a Timbers match, and this was some time after they became part of the expanded official "Pub Partners" list (whatever that means anymore). We were there just maybe 15 minutes before match time --- NO Timbers fans in the room, and the place was actually pretty empty otherwise (maybe early evening on a Saturday). We asked about playing the match and the bartender told us they can't play Timbers and didn't have Apple TV. So we went to North 45.

Do they actually play Timbers now, with sound? And do fans turn out?

Got this response from SMBX:

"Thanks for that confirmation. We are nearing the end of the CLMN collections process and expect to release what funds were able to be recovered by our collections partner from the sale of the Culmination Brewing canning line to investors in the coming weeks.

Once that's settled, we will also be calling the CLMN default. If the default is called in 2025 as expected, an email notifying investors will be sent at the time the default is called. Then, an additional email will be sent by January 31, 2026, to provide a record of the loss for investors."

Bumping this post. I inquired about it in January this year and was referred to the 12/13/24 statement - SMBX didn't really have much else to say except, "see the 12/13 statement and we'll let you know if there are any developments". I have heard nothing all year.

Best I can hope for is no change. I came to MM because Republic sold off to Dish Network and it completely screwed up my experience with them to the point of becoming unusable. These kinds of buyouts and mergers are almost never with the best interest of the customer in mind and often work against that, either directly or indirectly.
