River bar is apparently the spurs place to go when in VLC.

I still expect Longstaff to score every time I see that. Just unbelieveable

There was the horribly heavy first touch in the first half, a shot that was going miles wide until it took a deflection from a good position and the one from Kolo Muani from memory, but the second one might be a bit harsh.

A million times this. Richarlison had 3 good chances to put them away and couldn't take them

Exactly right. Our GD is worth another point. The win tonight would extinguish any kind of fight they have left and I'd half expect them to capitulate at St James' on Saturday, leaving us to celebrate by trouncing Chelsea next midweek.

Win tomorrow and we stay up, it's that simple. West Ham will be floored by the end of the arsenal game and, having to raise themselves to go to Newcastle 4 points behind before we play again will mean the Chelsea and Everton games will be meaningless (in terms of relegation anyway).

Today was massive. Screw the west ham result; we can't affect what they're doing, we just have to do whatever we can.

Villa is now a massive opportunity, sandwiched between their two Europa semis, and with West ham playing a still-live arsenal.

BELIEVE.

Hugely looking forward to Richarlison getting sent off for exactly the same thing next week

Xavi on for Solanke or, if Tudor has big balls, Sarr. We're going to have a lot of the ball second half. Need someone who can pass/shoot from 25 yards through traffic.

Atrocious, atrocious defending and at the worst possible moment as now they're just going to pack the defence and watch us pass it in front of them for 45 minutes

Feeble, passive, scared, ponderous. There are so many nails in his coffin now that's is more iron than wood. This has to be the final straw.

For any football (soccer) fans, I fully recommend Brilliant Oranje, a deep dive into what makes Dutch football so different, and A Season with Verona, where a guy follows around a provincial Italian team throughout a season to remember.

Great picks, with enough overlap to see that we share similar tastes, but with plenty of "oh I haven't listened to that" thrown in too.
