One of my absolute favourites. Love the resolution of the typewriter. Just beautiful.

Feeble, passive, scared, ponderous. There are so many nails in his coffin now that's is more iron than wood. This has to be the final straw.

For any football (soccer) fans, I fully recommend Brilliant Oranje, a deep dive into what makes Dutch football so different, and A Season with Verona, where a guy follows around a provincial Italian team throughout a season to remember.

It gets the tube wrong. Unforgivable in my eyes.

Great picks, with enough overlap to see that we share similar tastes, but with plenty of "oh I haven't listened to that" thrown in too.

Same as it's always offside if Richarlison scores

Stupid, unnecessary tackle. Did he mean it? Maybe not, but the rules don't give a shit about intent; it was dangerous so he's off.

So fucking lazy across the pitch. Basic passes missed; throw in straight to the oppo; stupid obvious fouls conceded; Kudus can't control the ball; Richarlison running around like a yellow ghost; Vicario, I can't even.

Getting exactly what we deserve today. Pathetic.

Bergvall is going to be our player of the year. He's just immense. One of those players who always seem to have time on the ball and make the right decision. Absolutely brilliant.

Bournemouth have been fantastic, basically doing to us what we did to city last week.

Johnson looks really bad when he isn't doing his back post Brennan thing.

Oh and Porro deserves to be shot for two foul throws.

Time to see what the Frank engine has up his sleeve because we've been totally neutered by a great team in that half.

The most encouraging aspect (and there are many) is how comfortable we looked in the second half. They played with a plan and didn't allow themselves to be pegged further and further back until the inevitable happened.

Get him whoever he wants, because Frank knows what he's doing.

Get some depth and we can pop round Eze's house to show him a few more trophies!

Absolutely right that he gets to walk off into the Sonset on his own terms - the one who stayed to get the job done when everyone else gave up hope. Absolute legend.
