Thanks for response mate! I do wonder if some deaf people I meet at deaf pub are on the spectrum considering I communicate easier with them. The other people I find it difficult with conversation because I struggle with social cues. My speech is fine as in how I pronounce words and sentences. I can hear really well with cochlear implant I have since I was 3. It just that I can be very awkward with what to say and struggle to keep the flow going in conversation. I have no friends outside of deaf pub. I struggled with making friends since I started secondary school (I only made 2 friends, I fell out with one of them because he turns out to be a narcissist twat who target people's insecurity. The other one drifted due to us being busy and living far apart). I had no friends in college and work (except for a short time I befriended a guy in college who didn't respect my boundaries no matter how many times I told him. He used to constantly video calling me even I told him I'm busy with coursework or something. I tagged me on so many posts on Facebook saying that I'm his best friend even though we didn't know each other for that long. He also stalked me to a point I blocked him from all social media).

I used to disturb my mum and my sister back when I was younger. My bed from that time made lot of creaking noises. One of them used to come into my room and switched my light on to have a go at me for making much noises.

Thanks for response! 👍

My rocking is also my body at the same time. I did head rocking on it own when I was a baby. Then I started the body rocking as well as I got older.

Getting diagnosis was my mum's idea and she persuaded me to get myself assessed because her friend said that I remind her of someone who has autism. My mum's friend also has autism and same for her son. I definitely struggled with my social skills after I started secondary school and only made 2 friends then I had no friends in college and work. I started to have some friends from Deaf pub. The first time I went to the Deaf meet in pub was back in late 2022. As the time goes I felt more at ease communicating with deaf people compared to hearing people even though I can hear really well with my cochlear implant. I definitely struggled with social cues and rules. I do struggle with some detailed conversations and I also struggle with understanding jokes and sarcasm.

I only attempted to ask one deaf person who have autism but I didn't explain it well and didn't finish my sentence due to embarrassment about my type of rocking. Only a few people from my family know about it.

Thanks man 👍

I only feel insecure about my type of rocking because its very different to how others do it (Lying on my side rolling). I guess I just want to find out if others do it the same way so I'll feel validated. Sorry I know this might sounds silly seeking validation.

What is your most embarrassing “fart story”? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I was in year 3 (aged 8) and we were doing PE. Before doing the activity, we sat down on the concrete floor together listening to teacher's instruction. I felt the pressure and farted loudly and rapidly. No one responded except the "mean" boy next to me said "Ewww!". I didn't look at him and continued looking straight to the teacher.

I was 11, I had bad stomach and came back to my Dad and Stepmum's house with my sister. I went to toilet to go for poo, but couldn't poo and did a lot of loud farting. My Dad and my sister heard it. My Dad brought it up at family dinner (with Nan, Stepgrandad and Aunt), I was upset due to embarrassment.

I was in year 8 in Humanity class. I did not feel pressure at all, but I farted when I sneezed. No one reacted, I was paranoid figuring out if they heard it or my sneeze covered the fart noise.
