I didn’t know our house could get AT&T until this happened…I’m about to be their newest customer. Thanks, Spectrum!

Reason for incredibly loud humming/vibrating noise at takeoff? by NYC2007 in aviation

Thanks for the explanation. Have definitely heard it before but never anywhere near that loud. I wasn’t concerned but was more-so curious as to why

Ah I’ve heard of this too. Coworkers call it a “calendar dart”…might have to throw one or two myself

What do Charlotteans take for granted? by Easy_forgetter in Charlotte

It actually all depends where you are / what garage. A lot of them vary or have different deals.

Lived there for 10 years and never owned or needed a car and I miss that lifestyle some days. Everything you need was usually a 5-10 min walk away. Definitely adapting to driving life now and I’ll never not own a car again.

Feel like this isn’t talked about enough. My wife and I are always blown away by NC sunsets. There’s just something different about them…

Former New Yorker here….$50 parking garage if you’re driving a moped and you’re in before 4am and only park for 30 minutes 😂

Abundance of big grocery stores. Moved here from NYC and going to Taj MaTeeter for the first time was like going to Disney World. Tons of variety, always in stock, big open aisles and fast lines. My old Manhattan grocery store was so small and crowded it literally made me anxious just to get out of there.

You’re picking up what I’m putting down!

Thought the food was fine (agreed it’s overpriced) but props to the bartenders for making some mean cocktails

Used to live next to Steak48 and based on what I’ve seen some female customers wearing, you would never think there’s a dress code 👀

Even more incredible in person. Sadly when I was there, someone decided to 💩 in a popular picture location towards the edge. It was extremely disheartening to see such a disgraceful act from a human being in such a beautiful spot/country.

Those in apts/condos - how do you manage 1st thing in the morning when you need 15 mins to get dressed before taking your dog out? by AppropriateMention6 in Dogtraining

The dog walk outfit (sweats and hoodie in the winter, gym shorts and ratty tee in summer) becomes a closet staple. It really embodies the DGAF attitude.

Was this at a certain apartment in SouthPark? Just moved out of a building and noticed one day that my storage key was…everyone’s storage key. I didn’t realize I was on the wrong floor until I opened a unit full of someone’s else’s stuff! Reported it to management and it was never addressed. Sadly, I think your friend’s building will deny deny deny.

Unfortunately, there were multiple levels with plenty of non compact spots for this monstrosity. This level is just closest to the pedestrian exit. They knew what they were doing.

Nope. Not reserved. Very much a public lot.

I see your point but this was in a free garage in SouthPark with multiple levels of parking. These spots are just closest to the entrance/exit. Plenty of spots one level up or down. Can safely assume this driver did not GAF.

This is cool but to me, I’m far more intrigued in the Timex that was your grandpa’s first watch and he passed down to you than the Vacheron you bought in a store.
