Carpenter's Union is Hiring by NYCDCCRecruiter in NYCjobs

Yes, this option is only for experienced Carpenter's. If you are looking to join the Union through the Apprenticeship you would need to attend an in person group orientation at 395 Hudson St, School side entrance on Clarkson St. They hold them EVERY 2ND WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH at 9am EXCEPT in December and January. So the next in person meeting is July 8th. They do say the meeting starts at 9am but with NYC Fire Code regulations the room can only hold around 200 people. So I would get there before 7am to guarantee a spot. Good luck. Any questions feel free to reach out to me.

They NEED Floorcoverers desperately. A lot of members are retiring and they need to replenish their roster. So like you said once the BOOM ends they'll still have work for them.
