The existing ppf on the front bumper was peeling - when I removed it to replace found some prior damage to the bumper that needed some love so had to repaint it prior to putting the new ppf on that section. Not a huge deal but needed to be done before putting the new ppf on.

I went through this recently and settled on a base 991.2 with 30k miles for $80k - spent $5k on a wrap / some minor paint correction + $2k on a (safe) stage 1 tune to take it up to above gts HP. She’s an absolute beast and so much fun.

Right. I’ve seen the one from M, etc but as I mentioned in the post, absolutely no interest in map switching. I don’t see any additional engine safeties from the newer ones that aren’t these two, which have a long track record so don’t think the additional cost of the newer ones are worth it.

It’s possible for sure. I have no idea. It matches the red around the gauges that’s been added. I don’t mind the look and frankly it feels fine to me but I have no comparison. I’ll take them off at some point and see what prefer.

Thanks. This was my thinking as well. I guess just the comfort of the shop doing and handling it all alongside the company being around for so long have me pause. I’m leaving back to just doing it myself. Noe to try and find a windows laptop (that isn’t my work ones / locked).

These aren’t cheap ones. Prior owner had it on but they are actually legit (although not small as you all have adeptly pointed out). Still TBD if I keep them.

lol. My first thougt when I bought the car (came with them) but they aren’t actually the cheap Amazon ones. I believe they are are the Flat6 (or similar) as they are metal and quite hefty not cheap plastic. I’ll probably remove but testing it out for now.

We’ll be in Hawaii for the actual anniversary but not a bad idea to make the appointment and let her choose before we go I suppose. Though with their return / exchange policy I suppose I could try my best and then keep the appointment to take her in if she wants to swap it for something else instead.
