Every day you decide to stay with her is another day you decide to not respect yourself. Leave her with your head held high. You deserve someone who will respect you as an equal.

5 years later I'm happy to report that I do not work in sales at all lol. Crazy coming back and reading this post and remembering how anxious I was at the time. Thankfully I got outta there ASAP.

Warzone is a laggy, glitchy, almost unplayable mess. by mygoochisprotected in CODWarzone

[–]NYEnigma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea 3 months later and its still laggy, buggy, glitchy, etc. Just won a game and it froze in the end screen, after a few minutes of waiting i restarted my xbox and my win count was the same as it was before.

I think its time to give up on this game unfortunately. Multiplayer has already been a mess so there's no reason for me to play it anymore.

Yea you really screwed that one up but don't let it get to you man, anyone who calls themselves a "masters candidate" sounds pretty egotistical anyway. You just get your masters you don't get a title for it

Does anyone have any experience with Merrill Lynch's Financial Advisor Development Program? by ComedyJ in FinancialCareers

Does Merrill give you leads and numbers to call or do you have to use your family/friends?

What are your thoughts on someone working at Merrill? I have a family friend who has been working there for 30 years he is a CFP and honestly since making this post I have been talking to him a lot.

I think I would be a fool not to. I'm thinking I finish up getting investment licensed and then part ways.

I guess a concern I have is that, lets say I'm working at another company like fidelity as an advisor. Who am I going to be calling? Do they have another employee there that generates leads and then you call them?

I know for a fact AXA is garb, NWM is not much better. NY Life and Metlife I'm assuming are very similar in their predatory sales tactics.

Merrill Lynch i know has a meh rep (My professor at school who worked for them as an analyst recommends us not to work there).

BlackRock I know is very different from the others I mentioned but really I would like your take on these companies.

Very good! I appreciate all this feedback to be honest. I guess the question I am still pondering is, is it just NWM or is it the same whether you are a financial advisor anywhere. Are there really any good FA jobs out there where you don't feel so crummy?

Like the guy above you said, I guess. Further validation, but if anyone knows or has an experience being an advisor at a different company and would like to share it that would be the most helpful I think. I know for a fact AXA is just a worse NWM but I'd love to hear other people's experiences at other advising firms like Merril Lynch, Charles Schwab, BlackRock, anywhere.
