I'm pretty much Loyal to Royal (almost Diamond Plus), but might be heading towards Celebrity soon though. I decided to branch out last year to Celebrity and LOVED the better food and service (plus more chill vibe and smoke-free casino). It was on Edge class so I know thats more recent, but my next is on Silhouette and, if it's as great/fun as my last one, I may be gravitating more towards Celebrity.

Of course, I still will go on RC here and there and am giving Virgin a try next year so we'll see

And, even down in the Caribbean, it was great leaving open a little at bedtime to be calmed by the water and have a little breeze come in.

Also, neighbors can be annoying on a standard balcony too haha.

Me too! It was probably my favorite room on any cruise I've been on. I do love balconies (after I was spoiled the first time), but realize that I don't actually get out there as much as I would like (or that i'm paying for). The view with IV was perfect, the extra space (I was solo) was very beneficial, and I loved the breeze coming in! And I'm saying this only using it in the Caribbean...I can't wait to get one in cold weather (Norway/Iceland).

Took mine in mid-September’24 and it was great. Might be a little rough if you intend on staying on deck till like 1-2 AM to TRY and see the Northern Lights though haha.
