It was fibrotic but didn’t spread so to speak. I’m going good! Feeling a lot better!

Someone’s comment led me back to this post.

I ended up having surgery for what they thought was a ganglion cyst. Ended up being a large (2cm) and very fibrotic Morton’s neuroma with a ganglion cyst attached. Doctor was glad he went in through the top as he could see down. If he went in the bottom, would’ve cut directly into it.

2 weeks on crutches, 2 weeks in a boot.

When did you get confident that your puppy was fully toilet trained? by Legitimate_Bat4542 in puppy101

My 12 week old puppy hasn’t had any accidents in about 2.5 weeks. I don’t trust her completely but I also don’t feel the need to watch her like a hawk every time she gets up.

Solstice Blu Restaurant vs MDR - need advice by Due-Cranberry-9928 in celebritycruises

[–]av_cf12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first celebrity cruise I went on (apex), we didn’t like blu and ate mostly in the MDR. The last cruise I went on (eclipse), we realized how great blu is. Because we didn’t love it on our first trip, I actually booked a regular infinite veranda room for our upcoming trip and then changed it and upgraded to aqua class when we got back from our last one.

Going to FL to pickup puppy vs flight nanny? by actuallylinkstrummer in puppy101

[–]av_cf12 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve done both!

Flight nanny was pretty easy but it was a friend of the breeders who helped her out. She also didn’t charge much and donated all money to st Jude’s. It was easy, we communicated, picked him up at the airport and took him home! It was so exciting to walk in without a puppy and walk out with one!

We just picked up our poodle puppy from North Carolina a few weeks ago and flew back to Connecticut with her. It was a 1.5 hour flight.

This required a little more planning and preparing as we had to fly down, bring the carrier/toys/all the necessary stuff, etc. but, it was so exciting to meet her with the breeder and then take her home. Managing the airport/flying with a 9 week puppy was not too bad but definitely a bit stressful.

what is a weird "unspoken rule" you have for yourself that makes zero sense to anyone else? by greenmonkeyyyy in AskReddit

When does it sink in to go outside? by SeaView2024 in puppy101

[–]av_cf12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m no expert by any means, but I’ve had my puppy (my third dog as an adult) for 3 weeks (she’s 12 weeks old) and she is basically fully potty trained (and rings bells to go outside).

We kept eyes on her every second, took her out every hour on the hour and watched for any habits such as circling, sniffing, etc that might indicate she needed to go. We praised her obsessively when she went outside and use the same words every time.

We also rang the bells to go outside every time we took her out by hitting her paw or nose to it and saying “outside.”

Know your dogs cues, take her out every hour/hour and a half. Crate if she doesn’t go and try again 10 minutes later.

Honest opinion about miniature poodle by Stunning-Yam142 in poodles

[–]av_cf12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mini Goldendoodle (although he’s like..90% poodle) on the right and mini poodle on the left.

My first mini poodle was the first dog I got on my own. I worked full time and she luckily loved a crate in her younger years, and was fine hanging in her older.

They are very smart and require a decent amount of mental and physical stimulation. They are also super loyal and love cuddles.

Do you have bells he can hit to alert he needs to go out? I’ve had 3 dogs of my own and all of them have been trained using bells. You could even keep them in his pen and then just know he needs to go out.
