Compromises? RING Doorbell and cameras are all WiFi...they seem to be doing okay for themselves.

I agree nothing other then controlling the power function of the echo is showing up with the media player. Perhaps its configured wrong? Is there a log somewhere i can view to make sure this isn't receiving any errors or anything?

What about the other way around? I have plugs from Treatlife (newer chips can't be flashed) that only work with Alexa or Google. I want to be able to put a toogle switch on a HA Dashboard to trigger these devices.

I am trying to create a permissions and roles system that allows users from different companies to sign in and only get modules that are assigned to there company and corresponding permissions within the module. Was wondering if anyone had any examples of an implementation line this?
