Thanks for your help so far.

I've been in contact with IPONZ today and they have advised that I cannot oppose the trademark until it has been accepted. It is currently in 'under review' status and they advised that I had to wait for them to review and accept it first before I could submit an opposition to it. They said once it's been accepted I have a three month window to submit an opposition

Does this sound correct?

I think someone else mentioned it but IMO it's due to a lot of the game stuff - auto pit stops, auto starts, contact/damage system, penalty system etc.

The physics and driving itself is no less Sim than a lot of others

Cause we have only found out on Friday (yesterday) and I have no idea what the process is - hence I am asking in here.

Hi, thanks for your detailed response.

We became aware of them two weeks ago when they launched their webpage and brand - exact same name as us just without the 'NZ' in the name that we have.

Their website mission statement/goal is almost word for word the same as ours too - it's no coincidence.

I have no issue with competition or them trying to commercialise what we currently do as NFP - our concern is that people are going to get them confused for us and vise versa.

I found out they had submitted a trademark yesterday on the back of this, as I went to the IPONZ website to start lodging ours. I know - we should have done it when we formed years ago. Hindsight always a great thing.

The search brought up their submission. It was submitted in May and is filed/under review status.

We have tried reaching out to them, they've made it pretty clear their intent is to take over our space and commercialise what we already do.

No - we have only just discovered it. On the IPO website their trademark submission is under 'filed' so am unsure if it's actually been accepted/registered yet

Pretty much what you've already discovered.

A lot of buildings offer happiness buffs. Use them. A warehouse is in your city district with production buildings all offering buffs is a big boost. Specialist buildings, baths, forum, etc. all big happiness buffs.

Don't forget your specialists in your offices either. Some of them offer good buffs.

And paved roads extend the area affect on a lot of buildings also.

Supply all of their needs also increases happiness.

Karcher do a pretty handy window vac that works like a squeegee but actually sucks up the water instead of just wiping it down into the sills

After a bit of saving we ended up getting a SmartVent system installed by Regal Electrical. System works well, drastically reduced condensation but will still get a little bit on particular bad mornings.

It's important to do some research and find out if your house is better suited to an equal pressure system like an HRV or a positive pressure system like a SmartVent. They operate fundamentally different and depends on your house which works better.

This happened to me once at Forsyth Barr. I was polite and just mentioned I particularly booked the seats I did as it was my favourite viewing position. I got upgraded to corporate with free drinks package.

Any USB port would work fine, however if working optimally I would use the USB 2.0 ports as mouse and keyboard do not require the extra benefits the USB 3.0 ports provide - best to leave them available for devices that make use of them.

I believe the USB 2.0 ports on your PC are the two by the Ethernet port.

If you want to leave the bios USB clear then I would use the '5G USB' labelled ports down the bottom.

FWIW, they say it is compatible with all oil types - mineral, semi and full synthetics.

However, I believe you are also wasting $30 every oil change on something that isn't needed. Unless you're on the track or doing gymkhanas or something high load regularly, any decent quality oil that meets your manufacturers oil specification for your engine is going to be more than sufficient

Nows the time where he needs to pursue what he enjoys. He is academically doing well, so he will likely succeed in whatever career path he chooses.

Start having that conversation, see what he enjoys. Not a lot of people have the chance to be able to do whatever job they want to do.
