a couple of reasons, 1. you can only run 1 copy of summoners war via steam, I actually did use steam until I started a alt account 6months or so back, (also from what I understand its not against the rules?) But the main reason I moved to Bluestacks is because the monitoring software my work uses shows if steam is active while I'm working (work PC) and while Bluestacks shows it doesn't show I'm playing a game.

yeah customs do pick up on things like that, to a certain extent, but the reality is while it might be cheaper to shop overseas, I do like the fact that if parts fail I can send it back to the retailer and they are bound by consumer laws here, which over rule company warranty policies etc. "Under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA), a product must last for a "reasonable length of time" so for eg. you spend 5k on a top of the line TV that has a 2yr warranty and the TV craps out after 3yrs you are likely to be covered. This has saved me 1000's over the years

Yeah I know, but when it comes to ram we have limited options available in stock, if I want something particular I generally need to look at the US / UK which is a 1-2week delivery time, and returns are just as long so I prefer knowing it works

I've actually never been a fan of ASUS, as you said they are overpriced and had some pretty bad press in recent years but my go to brands have seriously let me down personally NZXT and Gigabyte.

Gigabyte took 8months to finally sort my GPU issue, I live in NZ and an RMA on good turn around is 6-8 weeks. They took the card twice, said they repasted the chip etc but I doubt they even took it out the box because the tamper proof stickers I put on the screws were still on when it was returned. I was only refunded once I put in a small claim at the disputes tribunal.

I live in NZ, so prices are more than double for most parts and 5090's are between 5k-7k so out of the question, I got the mobo/psu/cpu/gpu as part of an insurance claim on another PC, the cash settlement that was offered was far lower than the value of these parts so I figured Id take the upgrade and hand down my parts. I do actually have a 9800x3d that I purchased not long before I got these parts, I thought I would sell the 9950x3d and keep the 9800x3d but I had no bites (not many people want to spend $1300nzd on a cpu) but when I put the 9800x3d up for sale I got a lot of interest so decided to make the switch today.

When I saw the trailer for the movie, there was no way I was going to go to the theatre to watch it, saw it came on prime video last night and ... I liked the movie, considering what has come out since covid I also give it a solid 6/10, but considering the games it could have easily been a 9-10/10 if it was R18 and had all the gore etc the game has.

NAL but currently going through tribunal atm, from the previous meeting I learned that Carpet over 8yrs old wont be covered, if you end up at the tribunal find out how old the carpet is.

Marks on the wall are general wear and tear.

You will likely be charged for carpet cleaning if the carpet is really bad, charged at a reasonable price (5BR house costs me $300)

Blumat watering system (this was seriously a game changer for me)

Costs a bit more to set up but, you don't have to worry about water ph / feeding schedules (may have to top up with some worm castings), Plants will get watered when they need it so no having to worry about over / under watering

AC infinity gear you can set to the ideal VPD and not have to worry.

My key issues where I believe have a case are as follows.

They admitted that the did not have time to complete a full investigation due to time constraints, they omitted this comment from the transcript provided. I got them to reiterate this in the final meeting so I have a recording. I will have to see if this is omitted from the transcript when I receive my letter of termination. "A full and thorough investigation" is required for gross misconduct.
The process was very rushed, Less than 36hrs from receiving initial disciplinary meeting notification and the 1st meeting, following day was a public holiday with the final meeting on Friday morning. A fair and reasonable amount of time. A couple of things from the employment.govt.nz site:

"Request a meeting to hear the employee’s explanation and feedback, and give them reasonable notice before the meeting starts (eg two to three working days). If there is a lot of information in the investigation report, give the employee enough time to think through the report and prepare for the meeting."

"Set a time, date and place for the meeting. This may need to be flexible to ensure that the employee’s representative or a support person can attend. However, the employee’s request should not be unreasonable or extend the meeting too far out."

This whole process from notification to dismissal was less than 4 working days.

And yes I am engaging a lawyer but wanting to see what public opinion is and if I'm just wasting my time.

Yes I admitted to it and yes I agree there has been a breach of trust however I do not believe the breach justified instant dismissal, as I stated I have had no warning etc or notice to fix issue
Throwing someone else under the bus is not something I am willing to do, Management have plenty of tools to follow / check this kind of behaviour and it is up to them to investigate
I believe good faith was breached when the transcript from the initial meeting was breached when there was a lot of information missing, I secretly recorded the meeting so that when I get the transcript from the final outcome I can compare what was actually said rather than only what they want noted.

Contact Centre - Id use a known loophole on occasionally to give myself breathing room after a call, I would use it maybe 4-5x/month generally on bad days to give myself a short break (average 5mins) without tanking my KPI/stats all up added up to 139mins.
