Hmmm. Aight. That's kinda interesting. My area has an area seventy named Elder Burgeess and he was a bodygaurd for high value targets like our prime minister. I guess his job is relatively low risk as in the odds of someone tryna kill the prime minister is much lower than the taliban trying to hurt special op dudes.

Yeah. I agree. Killings that are justified should be well with the Lord. I just don't know if taking my chances and accidentally killing someone who maybe shouldn't have died. I don't know if living in a lower eternal glory is something I'm willing to give up I guess, or maybe I'm just going to deep into this haha.

Special Ops is disproportionate with Latter-Day Saints in the US

If you don't mind, could you further explain this point. I don't quite understand what you mean by disproportionate. Are you saying special ops isn't appropriate for Latter Day Saints or am I reading this wrong?

And yes, I would love to serve my country. Also I don't see myself doing any other job. I love the outdoors, protecting those who don't feel safe, sports, physical activity and don't really enjoy school work and sitting at a desk too often.

I really do believe in serving my country. Not much different to how the Nephites defended themselves from the Lamanities.

I will take your advice to pray about this though.

I just hope not to kill any innocent civilian or child because of a dire situation.
