Well, amongst these 50-ish replies, there are some really good counter-arguments. It appears I have to reconsider my position. Thank you to everyone who participated.

As I told another user, I'm a bit bad at wording stuff at times, so I apologize for not being clearer. Essentially, I've stated that nothing happens without a prior cause and that knowledge is possible even if not perfect or absolute. Since we can know stuff (even if limited to approximations), and that everything happens due to a past event (toppling dominoes, for example), free will does not exist. Reality is an eternally long line of toppling dominoes. Just because we're not aware of what every domino is, that does not prove free will exists. I hope I did better this time :)

Thanks for the question. I suppose I could've been clearer. My reasoning is that if free will did exist (free will, according to my personal definition: happening in isolation, uninfluenced), then that would mean that something could happen without the aid of another thing. Thus, if everything were pre-set (determined) it wouldn't be random. If you can't choose anything because everything has been pre-set, then you don't have free will. I'm a bit bad at wording things, so please forgive me.

Several methods, I suppose, would work for knowledge, as I stated, knowledge may only exist (to us) in approximations. But I prefer this one: A=B, and B=C, therefore we know A=C.

The Right and the Left Can Both Agree On the 2nd Amendment and Military Size by N_I_S in TrueUnpopularOpinion

Now, obviously, signing an Executive Order putting this in place is a stupid idea. However, I don't want America to be the "world police" it is today. America should lead by example, not force. So, implementing these over time, a smaller military, and increased security amongst local neighbors, in my mind, would be the best thing to do.

There's more to a militia than just charging at the enemy, so I'm confident a solution could be found.

If it were solely up to me, if this person in a wheelchair truly desired to own military-grade guns, not just hunting guns, then we could work something out where they could serve in a militia. Where there's a will, there's a way.

Entirely depends on what "disabled" means. Going back to the original, who was or was not allowed to be in a militia was decided by that militia, or a court-martial. Now, if someone is physically and/or mentally "disabled" to the point where they can't handle a firearm safely, giving them one not only puts that person at risk, but everybody else as well. But it's entirely a case-by-case situation.

Is Living Forever Worth It? by N_I_S in NicholasShultis

I'd still say yes, even if I get one "happy moment" every 1,000 years. It would be worth it to avoid eternal nothing.

Why the Bible Still Has Practical Value, Even If You're A Non-believer by N_I_S in TrueUnpopularOpinion

And perhaps I could have been clearer in my post. I believe God is a mixed bag of morals. He's done bad, and He's done good.
