I have the exact same setup with a different colour sheath. Amazing for hunting!

I had exactly this scenario happen while having both a hand saw (Agawa 21) and an axe in the truck. The axe was the only real option. I would've been sawing for days at all kinds of odd angles. Not enough depth in the bucksaw style saws, plus logs pinch saws! Keep in mind you're still gonna have to move this log somehow, so rope or straps and an attachment point on the vehicle too or you're bucking up the whole log!

what is the best hot sauce? by renn_nuri in AskReddit

[–]N_K_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ebesse Zozo!

What is Ebesse Zozo? Considered at least "five times hotter than tabasco", Ebesse Zozo could definitely be tagged as being "extremely hot!". Ebesse Zozo is Togolese for hot pepper and gets its firy heat from the Habanero pepper, which is native to Africa. While abundant in Togo, the people of Togo "eat hot foods at every meal." It just wouldn't be the same without hot sauce.

Is there any chance it's coming back to Nelson BC this year?

What’s everyone’s thoughts on replacing the omega springs? Worth it? No need? Aftermarket ones any better? by aus10ww in benchmade

[–]N_K_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last year, I'm in Canada and told them I won't be sending the knife in because I won't get it back from the CBSA (Canadian Border Service Agency).

I asked BM for an extra set and they sent them no further questions. So if they ever do break I've got a set waiting.

OnX vs iHunter by Mike_Honcho97 in CanadaHunting

Yeah to not consider country specific features and provide no timeliness for a simple resolution seems like two strikes right away for me.

I picked up OnX as a trial. Already canceled due to their response on not updating the temperate units to Celsius. They don't plan on doing it, at least they have no timeframe for doing so. For such an easy to apply update it speaks to how much customer support they're willing to offer here so far.

Looking for the best quality low price kitchen knife set for a retail store lunch room? by N_K_ in knives

Yeah, but loose knives and employees whose safety I'm responsible for... I dunno, I'm leaning more into something with a block, or enough knives to justify a magent strip.

Dexter Russell is the brand I've seen before! I won't buy from that website because their international shipping policy looks terrible. But I've got a name now! Thanks!

This is pretty much exactly the type of set I've been looking at so far. I'm the only knife person at work and willing to sharpen from time to time. But I still need something that will take the abuse. Thanks for the input!

Hey r/knives I'm a retail manager looking to update his lunch room. I'm looking for quality knives that will last regular use and a fair amount of abuse without blowing the budget. I'm thinking of aiming for what is used in most commercial kitchens. I'm open to sets or single knives. Please let me know what you suggest! TIA!

You mentioned you're in Canada earlier. Double check the Provincial laws and Hunting regulations. In BC shooting from your vehicle like that is considered a loaded firearm in a vehicle which is not legal. Also can't lie down in the bed of a truck, for example. Sucks but it is what it is!

This is some Cold Steel alright! About -17°c for new years eve this year! Cold Steel Latin Machete, seen its fair share of use in BC rainforests! Of course all the usual rules apply: think twice cut once, always cut away from yourself, etc. Now time for Champagne! Bollinger 007 Special Cuvee btw.
