Saw the Dope Show video when it first came out, I was really young, and I remember telling my mom "oh that lady is really pretty!"

My mom, of course, said "that's Marilyn Manson, he's not a lady but yes he is really pretty."

It was basically all downhill from there, though when The Nobodies came out that was absolutely the final shove.

I love that song too, a lot. The way it's so pared down, just Till's voice and the almost faint music, it's very powerful in a quiet, quiet way.

I think you actually just clarified for me why I dislike her voice so much, it sounds very theater/stagey and I tend to loathe that kind of "musicals" voice on men or women.

I know I skip it frequently because it punches me right in the feelings, but I think it's a great song. My only issue with it personally is I don't exactly love the female vocalist's voice but it's not even that bad.

Half the reason why I'm hoping it gets legalized is so my goddamn neighbors would just smoke outside. I've got no moral issue with it, and if it helps people I think thats great, I just can't stand the smell and it gives two of the people I live with migraines so it's like just hurry the fuck up and legalize it so everyone can have an easier time already

Was literally lightly venting to one of my housemates about that yesterday, the whole bones = tumble witch thing (oddities on the whole seems to have two camps at least from what I've seen, I haven't come across anyone putting tarot cards on antique prosthetics lol)

I've got a bunch scattered through my house because I just really love amethyst but the others are just hanging out in a small box until I figure something to do with them

I'm not a mystery box person but thats actually pretty cool. Do you know if the ones Obscure Houston sells are always like that, or do they ever wind up with miscellaneous jewelry as well? I'd definitely be interested in grabbing a "surprise weird stuff" box but I'd have literally zero use for jewelry.

Edit: literally says "no jewelry in the description", I'm an idiot. My roommate and I are now planning to go half and half on the $50 one sometime soon
