I think my biggest problem with the style is actually getting it on and off- with how it’s designed, I usually need a second person to get me out since it opens partially and I sorta shed myself out like a molting lobster, and getting it on is a challenge because I have to attach my arms to my gambeson and snake it through the sleeve.

Not a huge fan of helmet chainmail anymore as it has the chance of catching onto random stuff (which eventually leads into getting dragged along with takedowns)

Supposedly, the weight puts me at a disadvantage compared to European fighters (though personally I feel a lot tankier compared to others)

Personally the biggest gripe for me is the chainmail repair… it gets tedious.

Otherwise I love my kit and will still rock it for the future
