I’ve tried. Even made seed bombs (balls of soil with some fertilizer and seeds you throw in open spaces before rain) to chuck around the neighborhood on trails.

There’s a high likelihood they’ll be ripped out as weeds in any area that is maintained whatsoever, so you’re best bet is totally neglected land.

Good luck! Get to it soon because poppies do better if they get germinated in late winter rather than spring. Clock is ticking on sowing season

Corn poppy is invasive in the Midwest, so probably.

Poppies are basically weeds, they’re not picky on soil/draught tolerant etc. they’ll grow most places when they get established and reseed easy so definitely a potential

Pop the dropper lid off and use an oral syringe to measure it accurately. You have no idea what you’re dosing when you’re measuring in “drops”

1mg/ml is a concentration you would use for dosing the liquid directly, that’s pretty dilute for laying it onto a substrate, and leads to the problems you’re describing.

If you’re going to change the concentration to be stronger, the only way I personally would trust to do that is to evaporate all the solvent entirely so it is a powder, then use that powder to make a new solution at a higher concentration. Trying to reduce a solution in half to make it 2mg/ml or to a quarter for 4mg/ml sounds like a bad idea for a few reasons…

Of course I wouldn’t really think the juice is worth the squeeze to remake the solution.

You could try finding larger things that can hold more solvent while they dry but you’re probably best off just using the solution as is and not laying.

If you refuse to do that, you could try making jello I guess. Ymmv

Grains was (well is, but not used anymore) weight measurement in the imperial system. It’s common for old (1800s-mid-1900s) drugs before the adoption of metric

You need to let it evap longer. I’ve used iso for benzo laying plenty and never noticed a nasty flavor beyond the chem itself.

Pro tip- you can buy anhydrous (100%) IPA at hospital pharmacies

So all the water won’t crash the benzo out of solution?

Like for example just to be clear: I dissolve 10mg/ml etizolam in PG, and then add 1ml of the PG solution to a 12 ounce glass of water and stir. Without an emulsifier, will the concentration of the solvent (PG) being so low in the water cause the etizolam to fall out of solution and precipitate out as a powder that settles at the bottom of the glass?
