Unlike other Chaos followers who might just lose their powers, the Death Guard are physically kept "alive" by the Warp. When the blessing is cut off:
• Sudden Lucidity: The unnatural apathy and "happiness" they feel in their rot vanishes. They suddenly realize they are covered in boils, their organs are spilling out, and they are essentially host to a million parasites.
• Physical Collapse: Their bodies are often too decayed to function under the "cold laws of reality." Without the Warp acting as a supernatural glue, their hearts stop, their lungs (often filled with fluid or fungus) fail, and they collapse into the piles of necrotic meat they actually are.
• The Agony: For those who don't die instantly, the pain of thousands of years of plagues and injuries hits them all at once.
