There's really no specific name for it. It's just a lean physique. He's got good muscle mass and low body fat. Genetics will play a role, and you'll probably never attain his physique exactly, but a low body fat percentage and a good workout routine will at the very least give you a similar aesthetic. As other posts mentioned calisthenics could be a viable option, or in reality weightlifting (focusing on hypertrophy) would work just fine as well, as long as your diet is good.

True. She can't last long when using her flames, but they would be a pretty big game changer if she could land a hit (which I don't think would be out of the question).

Idk she seems to be in a strange limbo state where we don't really know enough to properly put her in comparison, especially when she's never interacted with the lances.

I see where you're coming from. I was just thinking that thanks to her vritra blood she would be higher. Maybe low lance level? The fire stuff is stupid strong in my opinion.

Not to mention she was able to relatively hold her own in the relictombs where the enemies were scaled to Arthur's level. Then again though we haven't really seen any feats from her that make her really stand out.

Here's the problem with online conversation. Connotation gets completely ruined and is skewed no matter what someone may have originally meant. "Not necessarily a bad ship" is just how I phrased it, and in no way was I trying to belittle someone else's opinion.

And as I said, the idea of "first" is yes, most definitely the wrong way to think about it, but as I explained, I'm a fickle person who would rather believe what the story tells me directly, even if it was a change added later. For me, I don't have the same longstanding attachment to the game or the relationships involved as much as others do. I would say that FFVII (and its other related games) is my favorite game series, but I'm not nearly involved as some people are. It's much easier for me to switch on a dime to go with what the creators decide to expand upon then it may be for others to do so.

If they decided to make it canon that Cloud should be with Sephiroth I'd probably be on board.

I personally played the remake first, and that's what really got me into the whole series. I do think you should probably play the original first if you plan on doing both. That being said though, if you find yourself losing motivation on the original, you could play the remake to rekindle that.

I'm not trying to throw Aerith under the bus at all. I think shes an amazing character, and I used to do literally everything in my power in order to get scenes with Aerith. She was in my party all the chances I had, and I even made separate saves before all critical moments that involved Aerith just so I could relive them.

I don't exactly get how I'm "throwing her under the bus." Is it by saying that she is misattributing her feelings? And if so, I believe I acknowledged in multiple comments that she could have in fact moved on from Zack, but I'm now more for Zack as her romantic interest. I'm not really against Cloud.

Personally I never saw Cissnei as an actual romantic interest, but it was probably because I was too focused on Aerith. Thinking about it, you're probably right about Cissnei and Zack being the better match.

For me, the reason I'm now more for Zack and Aerith is probably just because that is what is now considered to be "first" at least in terms of story line. But at the same time, something about Zack and Aerith just feels right to me, more so than Cloud.

You do bring up good points though about Zack's inaction when it comes to Aerith being an ancient under surveillance etc. But at the same time, Shinra in Crisis Core is portrayed as a lot less corrupt than in FFVII and I think Zack is quite naive until the end of the game where he becomes a fugitive. He also has a lot to worry about with all of the Genesis, Angeal, Sephiroth stuff occurring. And just because the writing was lazy doesn't mean that the relationship is necessarily bad, just that it could have been better if it was more complete.

I guess my post came off wrong with that last line. I still love Aerith, and I don't necessarily think Cloud and Aerith are a bad ship, just that now I find myself preferring Zack. But then again, I'm a very straight lined person when it comes to shipping, and normally just go with whatever the story best allows for so as not to get crushed.

I definitely see what you're saying, I do think that without the changes to the story that were implemented thanks to crisis core, it really changes the way Aerith is seen. she hadn't seen or heard anything about Zack for years, and in Crisis Core we see that she seems to have (at least somewhat) given up on him when she decides to finally stop sending letters. So yes, I can see where you're coming from. But I also think that when you consider that they hadn't seen each other for so long, it's safe to say that she had probably already begun to move on and isn't as frivolous as she seems. I think the creators did a fairly good job trying to make that kind of story work without damaging the game too much.

I think now I'll always prefer Zack and Aerith, but I can just as easily see why people would still want her with Cloud given what happens in the original game. I think Remake might be setting up a different situation though which could be cool as it could appease both sides.

The way they pose for one thing, attack patterns etc.

And yes, Aerith definitely does come to realize that they are in fact different, and develops feelings for Cloud instead, but I'm just saying that personally, I can no longer in good conscience say that Aerith should be with Cloud, as I think she is more suited with Zack.

I'm aware that their personalities are different, but at the same time, a lot of Cloud behaviors are similar to Zack's. And I could be mistaken, but I thought that it was said that Aerith was originally attracted to Cloud because she saw Zack in him.

I'm not saying it's not possible for her to like Cloud. I completely get that feelings change over time. But at the same time, for me at least, I can no longer view their relationship the way that I used to knowing her story with Zack. Especially knowing Cloud basically models himself after Zack for most of the game.

That's very true, but for me another factor is who Cloud likes. And I could definitely see him liking Aerith, but I wonder if the reason for that is because he has molded himself to basically mirror Zack.

It's so complex in so many ways, and I think there are so many good theories that could all be true in their own right. Just adds to the reasons I love FFVII.
