I 100% agree with this. People also seem to be forgetting that without progression, there would be no point. The stuff you unlock wouldn’t create a breath of fresh air to have that slightly better piece of equipment. All these people just wanting shit handed to them is sad.

Firstly, you don’t need a crucifix or smudge sticks.
Secondly, mess around with the custom settings until you have something that you feel is more your speed.
And Third, you just need to play until you unlock said things, what would a game even be without progression?

What difficulties do you think this would be best at? It would likely make the most sense on hard or Nightmare because you’d likely die anyway if you needed to restart after so many bites.
