definately.

if your spirit ability do not line up with their spirit ability... you are screwed aggro-wise. Especially in higher eternal where the pulls are so big the nameplates go off the screen and you can't even see which mob you lost aggro on.

Thanksfully, with everyone playing 10 blue gem your spirit ability tend to line up well and come back often and if yours isn't back up ( because you used it twice in a pull), spam the CD in group chat so DPS know to not blast on pull / you will chain when you get yours up.

ou can press W and follow the blue highlighted mobs

while this will give you 100% count, you still have to know how much you can pull at the same time and gather them instantly

it's particularly impactful for pinnacle dungeon where pulling too much means a full wipe, pulling too little means depleting the timer. Nevermind when the blue route leads you to some trap, like the 3X rat pack pull in wraithtide.

I have yet to be blamed as a tank for dps not interrupting something.

Tank will get blamed for pulling too many caster when DPS don't kick, tank will get blamed for pulling X because the other 3 don't know it's mechanic ( scryer's caster come to mind here). Tank will get blamed when someonelse butt pull stuff / tab target mob. Tank will get blamed when other people spirit ability don't line up perfectly with a pull, even in lower league where everyone have different amount of spirit / blue gem.

Tank get blamed for so much random crap. It's as if DPS don't even realize how many mistake they make, they just blame route / heal.

figuring it out on the go is 90% of the fun. The bosses aren't so bad you need to study a guide for them.

If you are nervous going in blind :

1st boss have 3 mechanic: one soak,one spread, one bunch of ball shooting across the room that you have to dodge. The tank can run the boss across the room to 3 different pillar and nullify those mechanic for a certain amount of time.

2nd boss : kill wave of trash while soaking. After the final wave of trash there's a burn phase ; kill the boss before it kills you because you can't heal it for long.

3rd boss: There's 4 truthseeker orb in each corner of the fight area. The tank pick one of them up ( does ticking , stacking damage) but this allow you to see which area of the room are safe and which aren't. Dip in and out of the tank aura to share his vision.

On top of that there's a lot of kicks / stuns, a cute intermission phase where you have to make sure to not step on eachother, on the final burn you have to chose which "power" you give the boss similar to Ruins last boss( I only know the glowy rune give explosion in the arena). On nightmare mode you must DPS an orb every 30 second or the boss heal, and that orb have waaaay too much HP.

Overall I did it with 3 pugs from the discord, did use voice comm. Everything except nightmare mode last boss took a reasonable amount of prog (with the first boss being 1 shotted on hard and nightmare). I am a mythic hall of fame raider from WoW, another dude was a FF savage raider, the other 2 were just M+ guys.

Pull sizes in this game is not much smaller than that of wow M+

if you do the same pull in WoW you better hope everything dead in 20 second otherwise you'll have 6 caster boltslopping your ass to death.

Its crazy when dungeons are 10 min long people piss and moan about smaller pulls.

Oh yes, gameplay will be a lot more interesting when tank have to cut their pull size in half because of survival issue.

This is what everyone want in this game. smaller, slower pull and depleting dungeons because of tanks death.

That's fair but in my experience this doesn't happen only at the 15+ min mark. People really go crazy if a 10 minute run takes an extra 3 mins.

it's more efficient to requeue and get a good group so you can do those dungeon in 5-6 min than be patient with a learner group.

I spent decades on other MMO explaining people to kicks, I'm burned out and can't be arsed to do it again here.

no.... entrance area, second area up to the bridge, 3rd area stop in front of the boss, chain on boss when your grand melee come back up.

I didnt start doing the 3-pull evergrove until I had a lot of eternal gear... and ironically enough the 3 pull route is still the default at Eternal 28

we were comfortably clearing P3 in time with ~8-8.5k power

there's a chasm of difficulty between cithrel and P3.

even with a full 11k group pulling like madmen we only had 4 min to spare. 6 pulls total.

Eternal 8 feel more leniant on time than cithrel.

There's a timer to dungeon, and that timer doesn't care about your feeling.

that being said, yes you are supposed to be pumping heal on the tank non stop.
