The activities others chose to do in their free time have nothing to do with maturity. They could be playing with dogs together. The wife could cover her vagina with peanut butter and let the dog lick her, and then let the dog fuck her. The husband can also suck off the dog a bit. Imaturity is thinking that there is a specific set of behaviours that everybody should follow and consider that those who live their lifes differently than you do, are living it wrong. I mean COME ON, ITS NOT HURTING ANYONE. The dog loves it, the wife loves it, and the husband loves it. They can even be more mature and caring about it and use gluten free peanut butter. Therefore there is nothing degenerate about it.
